Alex, thanks for the nice and informative video. Fernando is a great guy, and I admire his positive attitude! I wish him the best and hope that things will be resolved as soon as possible, especially since he has found himself in an unprecedented situation! In my opinion, everything could have been resolved very easily, on a human level, by the employers, without the need for a lawyer and without wasting any more time!

Sorry to hear Fernando story in Malta. Though I am not aware his any other employer reason to revoke his job. But I have a part of an experience to working with this guy. He was hired as bar attendance not as a bartender in my same job place from an working agency late summer 2022. My job place also gives a chance for English & professional experience to young intern from another part of the Europe. So it's a nice environment working in a mix culture. What I found and interaction from this guy, he was more concern to flirt in a way to the intern girls in the job hours rather concerns his duty. He did not miss the chance to pass his time to pickup skill those interns from his working place. Just after joining your job, rather you should focus on your duty not any other intention. after the covid time Malta was needed more staff in the Hospitality industries. So the government and employer given chance to everyone to work and learn from this Island even for the unskilled. Yes! Of course the management of the job place wasn't ignored the complain they received from the interns. Eventually , they inform to working agency not to send him again. So it's important if an employer gives you opportunity to work, just focus on that . Leave your social skills to the any other place. Best of luck for the future

EXCELLENT INTERVIEW ABOUT AN UNFORTUNATE & HUMANITARIAN SITUATION 😢. Fernando comes across as a lovely & honest individual and I'm very touched. He doesn't deserve to be in that situation and to receive that sort of treatment. The LAW should be on his side as it's purely a case of 'force majeure'. Like you said Alex, let's hope it's resolved FAVOURABLY and sooner rather than later. THANKS Alex and GOOD LUCK Fernando 🙏. 😂 Cheers 👍🇲🇹❤️🇪🇺™️

I’m here right now…lucky we didn’t come in the hot season 😬. Essentially the place is close to third world shitehole: lots of derelict ‘new builds’, lots of current new builds, lots of historical building going to ruin, beaches are tiny/access is poor. Everything is beige, beige, beige sometime spelt B.L.A.N.D. Absolutely don’t come here in peak tourist season.
