Yeah, realscale maps generally just take significantly more resources in my experience, regardless of your composition. If you go for big stuff, it's vastly more expensive than in the base game, and if you go for small stuff you need to constantly be reinforcing. The enemies are just so much bigger in most of the missions.

One thing I love about those unlimited mineral/gas nodes is that it encourages map control since you never fully abandon the smaller fields around the map. Moebius Mods' Media Blitz is a good example

@@SleepLessThan3 iirc, the real-scale ultras in WoL left the marines with roughly 5 hp remaining. Now correct me if I'm wrong but if memory serves, marines have 45 hp, at least with combat shields. If lings have less than 40 hp, they all get instakilled. And I think lings have like, 35 hp. So yes, we can expect to see an uktralisk getting upwards of 30 kills with each swing. S

those control groups use to be smaller back when it was only wings of liberty i played around with the editor back then, and the max size back then was 255, i found this out when i made a map where i had removed the pop cost from every single unit.

The crucible will sadly end this. At least that was were I got kicked hard on my own play through. Those lv5 primal ultras just do not care about lings. Will still cheer for every little bug friend in this run :)

I think that, once it can't be done normally, you get some kind of infinite resource mod and see how many zerglings you can toss into the meatgrinder. I think it'll be fun, in the later stages, to just have an endless tide of zerglings consuming stuff like the Odin.

Something to note about the zergling counter is that when you reload a save, you lose the zerglings you made that save. If this run gets completed I wanna binhe through and math out just hiw many lings were actually made. Maybe my guess of 900k wont be too far off
