My 21 year old son passed away 6 mos ago, we loved music even tho we never played, it brought us together. I decided to get a guitar 2 weeks ago so I could play him the songs we loved. It has helped me tremendously with the grief. My guitar has been a blessing. I practice for hours everyday. It makes me feel closer to him. Love you D.

Years ago my cardiologist told me my heart wouldn't make it another year. I retired from corporate america, picked up the guitar, practice daily and just recently the same cardiologist said, I don't know what you're doing but whatever it is keep it up. Oh man, the lights just went off in my head.....A new guitar would be a healthy benefit to me, I hope my wife will go for it. Thanks, Andrew, fantastic topic.

Jovana Cruz you know what I usually got discouraged because I think I will never be a great big player because I started at 35 yrs old... but later I understood that is not the point of picking up the guitar.

I Starr to LEARN at 13 year but i m not good and at 50 years have AVC Strokes and i have to realearn to Play and it help me diront m'y recovery!but i keep doing IT because i love IT and stop being a rock star , just have zone fun! Stop stress ,we are unique beatiful!

I like to draw, I'm not good at it, it frustrates me when I'm learning, but playing guitar, no matter how bad I am, keeps me calm, playing guitar and reading are the best things to relax and have a good time for me... Sorry if I had a bad English
