I did hear that Rudy offered GTS a higher price to get his allocation of normal booster boxes which is why some stores didn’t receive their entire order if any from GTS. Lots of upset store owners at Rudy. Have to say the fella saying orders weren’t canceled by distributors is one of the reasons orders were canceled by distributors.

I'll be honest, I felt after the first VIP case opening that everyone was going to get hosed. The second case opening was pretty much the opposite of that of the first. I am concerned that both openings had major duplication issues and while that can be palatable if you open three Mox opal's or Force of Will's the price of the product means it isn't if your slots are duplicating garbage.

This is the wrong takeaway. There are three conclusions you should have reached: 1) Variance on this product is insane, 2) The supply of all these cards is going to be so ridiculous that they'll tank in price to the point where Force of Will will likely be between $150-200. I've watched openings from 3 different accounts and each of them has pulled at least 1 Force of Will out of 4-8 packs. 3) Wizards purposely hid the fact that you can't get a mythic in the first topper slot.

@@Chidon0 Someone on Reddit logged all 71 recorded pack openings so far and none of them had a mythic in the first topper slot. It also looks like you can't get a mythic in one of the rare slots, too. So the max number of mythics per pack is 2: 1 regular foil and 1 topper.

Chidon0 it’s worse than this, you can’t get 4 mythics or even 3 mythics per pack. When you were supposed to get DOUBLE the rares mythics slots, in fact you can only have one rare, one showcase rare, and then one mythic and or one mythic showcase, IF YOU ARE extremely lucky.

Just to clarify: Double Masters does not have "showcase" cards. They are simple borderless cards with alternate art. There is no special unique frame for any of the cards.

To be fair with Covid shipping is all over the place. I received three parcels last week on the same day. One from Europe that I ordered on April 22nd and two parcels from America ordered on Jun 18th and July 1st. My MTG supplier said that he is expecting to receive Jump Start sometime at the end of August. All I can say is that we just need to be patient.

i've also got two boxes ordered of double masters. they say they're shipping in order of order. if the same shipping problems are present we'll see if thats true because a friend ordered his boxes about 15 minutes after me. if he gets his significantly earlier than me i'll now for sure what they're actually doing. my big problem is they wouldn't respond to any of my questions and blew me off for days until i got tcg customer service involved. they then just replied with a cut and paste response to all my inquiries. that same response also said they'd have all their supply in by end of month and that was in july.

VIP booster opening is like playing Duck duck goose. You’ll do fine until the majority of the Foil Showcases go negative EV and then you can’t move your singles. Nevermind the searchability and resealibility of VIP boosters. But no one is talking about that. No one.

I am just wondering if the double master’s box toppers non foil will have more stable price than VIP foil cards. Rarity, which one is more rare?

Its less about actual rarity and more about demand vs supply. Why would a majority of players pay more or equal price for a non foil version of one of the box toppers. Eventually, I expect that players love of foils will offset the supply of foils vs non foils. If mtg were purely a collector product, you'd be right. But the added variable of player demand is a big thing.

thanks for the video Rudy. after the first brutal opening i was convinced this was a wide swing product and because of that it was not for me. the second video was much more comforting as value went. still for me i am going to take a pass. i am a Timmy. i could not detect a fake or tampered product and because of the total lack of security features makes VIP Boosters a product i will not buy. i should point out that not ever seller is bad but the temptation is there. the incredibly late announced change of Tron lands to Box Toppers is bull. it should be called out by everyone. Wizards should never do that again and if they do the product should be 100 percent returnable. as it is now i do have skin in the game for Double Masters. i hope the regular booster box has security features. i will keep watching as long as you keep making videos.

You can put ads in the middle of a KZbin video rather than at the beginning if your video is over 10 minutes. Quick Google Search : "Breaking that 10-minute mark is particularly important: that's the point at which KZbin begins letting creators insert ads into the middle of their videos, rather than just running an ad at the beginning." My favourite Rudy meme is the different excuses he uses on us fans to justify the 10 minute videos :D

I think the foil lands will settle around$1-2 for bfz style and $3-5 for unhinged in the near term. The foil hour and bfz lands got hammered. With Zendikar rising coming soon, we are going to be extra flooded with full art foil lands.
