Looking for electricity is ALWAYS "poke it with a stick." A voltmeter is poking with two sticks and measuring the difference between them. A "current detector" is poking it with a stick to pick up the fluctuating magnetic field around a live AC line. A "voltage detector" is poking it with a stick that has a "light bulb" (LED, incandescent, neon, depending on the expected voltage) connected to ground. If YOU can find a better way of looking for voltage, we'd love to hear it. And we've already tried licking, that only works for 9v transistor batteries, and only on the probies/new guys.

Technically, this is the official (and correct) solution even for line workers and other high-voltage situations too. It's not just any stick, though. They're actually *very special sticks* (carefully engineered and tested) made exactly for this purpose.

Jesus Christ himself stated "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE" either Jesus is wrong and theres many ways, or he's right and literally everyone else is wrong, and being the fact that Jesus grave is empty, and the bible is considered the most preserved book dating to antiquity, meaning no other ancient text even comes close to the material we have for the bible, I'm gonna trust Jesus, but you'll still deny him, but you'll find out, you'll wish to bow your knees, and you will confess with your tongue that he is Lord, but it won't matter then, not when you're standing in front of him having to give an account for everything, like we all will, only difference between you and someone who has a relationship with Jesus? We are redeemed from the empty ways of life, handed down to us by our ancestors, while those who don't know him, stay tucked away in the corners their ever so familiar with, attempting to hide in the shadows, but the father sees what's done in secret, just as he sees what's done in the light.

The inside was melted. 😂 I'm still terrified of plugging anything in. The burnt smell happened again and yep it barely started melting inside I was told I had a good nose. Not the same thing of course, but I also thought I was imagining things. 😂

That is certainly one way to make the call of “Hey cap” a bit more serious. One arc and the mood instantly went from jovial overconfidence to sheer terror

Have a quiet shift since everything is primed to fail and absolutely everything can go wrong, because there’s absolutely no way for this SLOW and QUIET shift to get ANY worse. Because all you need is a slow, quiet, slow, quiet, slow, quiet, slow, quiet, as slow as a snail and as quiet as 6 feet under shift...

It's insane when you think about how much power is moving through, those power lines and often isn't insulated properly. Like these dangerous high voltage lines are everywhere and we just act like it's normal.
