One of the main reasons I left the industry was due to the way truck drivers are treated and their poor conditions. Despite being depended upon by the nation, they are also despised but them. As others have said, it's no wonder there is a shortage. Who wants to have conditions like this.

Par for the course at many places unfortunately. Credit where it's due - there are a lot of decent truckstops that maintain a certain standard of cleanliness, but what you've shown in this video is an all too familiar (and not at all surprising) sight for me. I've not tramped in years and this was one of many reasons why I stopped. Keep rockin' man.

Most of the places I park are clean.The ones I visit that are shit holes, I never return too. I went to one before in scotland and my foot went through the rotted porta kabin floor when I was having a slash didn't dare use them showers haha. Good video mate alot of people don't take in to account this type of stuff.

That's the problem if you've never been before. You'll only know when you go for the first time, in this instance this was my first time and will be my last !

whats the first part of the post code is this truck stop in and/or what road its on? I'll make sure I stay clear. I stopped at the Stockyard and Colsterworth truck stops for the first time this week.

I stopped doing night out. No tramping no long distance. Morning start max 11h day 🤷🏻‍♂️

There is loads of places like this. and it really shouldn't be as we pay a lot of money to stay in places like that. Just goes to show that hgv drivers are not looked after. And that's the harsh reality of driving

Lol it’s shocking in the U.K. no money is spent on anything to help us do our job. I remember doing deliveries to amazons felt like a criminal going in there . No a pleasant experience at all. 😏😏

I've only done Amazon a couple of times, both occasions I had to wait in a cage ! As a result I cancelled my membership on their online loadboard 'Relay'.
