Get a piece of old hose and split one side so you can wrap it around that chafed air con pipe and secure it with some cable ties, to protect it.

Was thinking of getting a load of protective wrap/sheathing and going around the truck inc the taillift hoses. Cheers for the 'old hose' idea.

@@TheRockgod23 The only problem with that plastic corregated wrap is after time and heat cycles it just disintergrates, crumbles and falls apart.

@@cabdriveruk Yes, I've already had a few vehicles with that on and it just cracked and crumbled away ! I'll go for the 'Redneck Hack' and find some old hosepipe. Cheers.

Get a proper set of cutters also as they cut the plastic pipe dead square you can get a set with different size fittings and the cutters in it 👍👍

That’s if you get recovered it’s the pipe they use to tap into the air for the hand brake and suspension level

Mate youve got a really nice Scania. Weve got G320s 26 tonners highlines so i think similar to your cab not sure. Ours are with super singles Alcoa dura bright wheels tho.

Yes, virtually the same cab, mine has a 'flatter' floor so I've got a bit more headroom and a bigger fridge (I think ?).

@TheRockgod23 Yes, that is correct. Ours sit a bit lower, too, so we get less head room in ours. Also, unfortunately, ours didn't come with fridges, so we had to buy separately 🙄

If I was a betting man, I would say your cab tilt oil reservoir is low. The time it took to tilt your cab plus when it went over centre it dropped a lot tells me it needs oil topping up. Get that cab tilt ram looked.

What's the average price for a service?

Depends, as one of the main costs is the labour charge which can vary from £30 per hour to £70 per hour, also depends on things like whether genuine parts from the main dealer are used. So an average for me at an Independent garage for a full service (inc oil change) would be £400 - £500.
