Oh yeah it'll be fun. We've already broken ground on the new range and have been working on it on and off here lately. Should be up here before too long. I've went ahead and set the ghost of cowboy bill out at 400 yards just for rifles like this

Great kit. For my kit, which came from Sitting Fox, I have to drill ALL the holes, including drilling and tapping the Lock plate. For the stock, I used Tru Oil from Birchwood Casey. Rubbed in with two fingers, it turned out beautiful. Good Luck and can't wait to see the finished product.

Oh wow! That sounds like quite the project I'm sure it will turn out beautiful. This is my warmer upper kit. The next one I've got after this is a pattern 1776 from the rifle shop with lock casting set. After that I got a paddlebutt wheellock from the same vendor that I have to build. I may try what you talk about here on the wheel lock. Sounds like you would look pretty nice on that gun

I honestly think that that would be an awesome idea for a rifle, especially if you had a combination smooth bore barrel to go with it. With shooting rifles I tend to lean towards the smaller calibers however, for something to take into the Rockies I think .62 would be perfect. Also considering that if you have a smooth bore, you've got yourself a 20 gauge

Nice rifle, but with canadian $ exchange...taxes..duties etc...id never afford 1. Wish a company in canada could make something similar.. That rifle would run me around. 1700$ ...def out of my range..but am happy you have it finally.

I sure wish it were me making this video about getting a new Kibler kit. You need to take a few lessons on how to unwrap things though-- I've seen hungry rats chew the legs off a dead chicken better than that. Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!
