Cleet was ready for the moon but the engine wasnt. Gotta take away his scramble button.
@kenwillis84876 ай бұрын
The engine was ready to party! The fuel pump wasn’t rated for the moon tune / scramble button! Pete built this combo for 7.0’s and underestimated cleet hitting the scramble button! Clearly he didn’t watch Steve Morris’s video with the old big block that Cleet demanded more than rated for! I can tell by Pete’s comments that he understands now though and he is going to do the necessary upgrades on the engine and advise old Cleet to upgrade those fuel pumps to keep up with the demand! I’m sure he will disable the scramble button as well!

Pete is a true Renaissance Man! Skilled musician, technician and philosopher. Leroy is getting a slippery fiberglass body so he's going to gain some weight but free up a LOT of top end drag so speeds are going to go through the roof. Hope Pete convinces Cleetus to put tall enough gears in him or I pity the tachometer. Also wondering if a full skirted piston with more side support would help with the rods bending? Those little slippers really don't offer much to help the rod from bending. I know the LS doesn't have a lot of room inside for a full skirt without hitting the crank...but with a short enough stroke? Less displacement but more revs?
