There is a whole lotta race car there in Mullet, and a lot of effort by some very handy tradesmen to get it up where it is. But Pete I gotta say the icing you put on that cake was like witnessing magic from this side of the lens. You have the master overview on the "package" & understand every system involved well enough to take huge strides. It really was an impressive progression to watch at FL2K, outfuckenstanding. Nobody so far has been burned through working on Mullet, I'm sure you will ever remain well received by that team.

Here' from Cleet's channel. I gotta say, major respect for you in your craft. I've watched those guys struggle and struggle and struggle. And when you get in a car of Mullet's level, it's time to bring the pro's in....not your buddies from down the street. I just hope folks understand the level of difference you made in this car. I guess it helps that the car was so far out of whack when you first put hands on it that your changes really turned into huge gains. Again, much respect Pete.

I have give respect to Nate too, he did the best he could with the knowledge he had. Mullet was just getting too out of his league, once it got down to low 7’s it was pretty out of his experience. Pete has that knowledge that pushed Mullet the extra half second.

Couldn't agree with your comments more. Pete took a powerhouse that was struggling and CREATED A MONSTER! Pete's Midas touch was the missing ingredient Cleetus has been looking for. My guess is that the relationship between our buddy Cleetus and Pete will be VERY LONG LASTING. Very much like Garrett and Kevin's relationship. Those two fellas have helped Cleetus take his Mullet into a realm only a few REAL, GENUINE 'STREET' CARS are. Just how quick and fast can Mullet go? Can he break into the 5's? We'll see won't we.

I seriously hope you and Cleetus continue to work together and you tune on his car(s) at Wold Cup at MIR. Many moons ago I was crewing on an all motor car at that race and the was just outrageously good. Like usual at that time of the year the weather was cool but it had rained for several day before the race and had just stopped when practice/qualifying started. The track to start with was very average but by Saturday was like a table at IHOP (super sticky) but ice cold and a front had moved in dropping the ambient air temp into down right chilly with basically zero grains of water and a correct altitude of negative 2400 on our weather station. Trying to keep a injected nitro motor happy in conditions like that as well getting it to stay hooked up was definitely interesting. In competition we went up in smoke in the second round and watched a lot cars go home with hurt engines because of the tuning challenges

Great job. Really enjoyed watching him get like 3 pb's in a row practically and what you gave the tune up was exactly what it needed. Experience and patience is hard to come by and you brought both to the table. Drivers patience isn't long enough to do the right things with a tune lol Thanks for a job well done. It made all the difference. The 6:50ish run says it all. I'm guessing that mullet is maxed out except for some small tuning work, track conditions and atmospheric restrictions. These items decide many of the tune factors and you hit every one on the money. Thanks . It was a pleasure to watch the can not struggling.
