Top colleges for sure is an awesome kickstart to your career, but if you're skilled and passionate enough, you'll make it regardless. But be careful to choose a decent college atleast, sway away from no name engineering colleges, most people go there to just have fun, high chances to be influenced. Repeating especially for jee in itself is risky, but you should 100% try it if you feel like you couldn't give your b3st while in 12th, but there is luck involved, so go for it only if you're very sure. Also Arif, Jee is becoming increasingly competitive every year in case you didn't know, and with the luck factors that come in to play, it would be plain stupid to repeat for two years. Don't mislead students, Repeating is really stressful, and 2 years of gap would be a point of concern for the companies that hire you. It's far wiser to join a decent college and work hard to build your skills.
