Brotha i know you being humble. The whole wrestling UNIVERSE knows who sld hv been the 1st. I will.never forgive wwe for what they did. It was a disgusting promo. It was a burial of the ages. And i feel you shouldn't be to humble by that. Because just like it kofe win shared light and motivated the youth of blacks that they can over come. You losing probably made a era of youth insecure of the possibility of overcoming. Till this day i dont think BOOKER T understands the affect that lose was.

Ron Simmons is the first Champion. The Rock is Samoan and black but never really embrace his black side unless promoting. He and WWE push his Samoan heredity. Kofi was born in Ghana but raised in Boston. He's an African American through and through.

Yes. Kofi is the first African born to win the wwe championship. (there haven't been too many guys actually born in Africa that has worked for wwe, I can only think of Adam Rose and Justin Gabriel at the moment.) Kofi is also the first African American to win the wwe championship.
