Great video. I owned an occasion/holiday website and ETSY shop for years and brought in 6 figures each year. Owned it back in 2012 until 2019. This was before I knew anything about POD. I got out of it for the same reason you mentioned in this video. Although I made 6 figures each year. It was so draining. As soon as one holiday ended. I had to scramble to make new designs to go with what was trending that year for the next holiday. Needless to say, I no longer own that website/shop.

It's always amazing how many people want their stores reviewed and they have not followed any of the strategies you promote. People, do your research!

For those who want to design their own products, and not contract out, using the All-in-one shops seems like it could make sense to learn.

What do you think about incorporating shipping cost into the product and then offering all items FREE shipping. I should think it simplifies things for the customer, and the store owner, ensures that the store owner isn't losing out on shipping costs and the customer doesn't get sticker shock when ordering two shirts and paying$7 -$8 shipping.

Can you avoid free shipping by including the shipping cost in your price?
@Jen_EtsyLady3 күн бұрын
If you don't do free shipping, how do you handle being charged shipping for each item for different print providers? Like, what if someone orders a t-shirt and a mug? You will have to pay shipping on both. If you only charge, say 7 dollars flat, you would be losing money on shipping that would cut into your profit.
@RealJoeRobert3 күн бұрын
Don’t overthink it. You are in control of all of your prices you would need to price things accordingly based on what you were charging for shipping

Hi Joe, I'd like to join your University. Can you please send me the sign-up link? I have 2 months to get ready and I'm not a beginner, I've been selling POD on Etsy for 2 years now. Do you think I could make a few bucks in Nov and Dec? Thanks!
