What does the ‘oc’ in between q and square root of delta p at 4:00 ??
@realpars2 жыл бұрын
Hi @Smokin' Joe. It looks like "oc" but it's the symbol for "proportional to". The equation in words is "Q is proportional to the square root of delta P.

Excellent content and resolution with less disk space, keep improving RealPars. I closely follow up these interesting videos, but so far I haven't found the video "How to check the accuracy of a DP flow transmitter". Did you already submitted it? Thank you.

Hi this question is not related to flow but this question is about pressure transmitter range.if pressure transmitter have range -100 to 150 kpa then what will be MA at -92.plz any body reply me and plz share the formula thanks
@realpars Жыл бұрын
Hi Mohammed. Thanks for reaching out. Total span is -100 kpa plus 150 kpa = 250 kpa. -100 kpa is 4 mA. 150 kpA is 20 ma. 50% point is 25 kpa and is 12 ma. -92 kpa is 3.2% of span. 3.2% of 20 ma = 0.64 ma. Therefore at -92 kpa, the current would be 4 ma plus 0.64 ma = 4.64 ma

Why is it so expensive to measure the flow-rate ? Alot of small Sensors costs up to 1000 Euros. Of course it depends on how precisely you want the result to be. But is there a cheaper / easy way to Measure the flow rate ?
@MrWaalkman4 жыл бұрын
If your meter comes in an explosion-proof stainless steel enclosure, that adds quite a bit to the price. But you are correct, they really are overpriced (especially the simple DP meter). As for building your own, you can get the PCB mounted DP sensors for cheap. You would have to do your own software, but there are probably examples out there.
@giannisgklavakis71843 жыл бұрын
The question is a little bit vague. It depends on what kind of fluid you want to measure. If for example you want to measure the water flow rate, then there are many options available in the market with less than 1000 euro.
