😔 I really hope you and your son feel the same in 10-15 years, after this whole fad has passed and these children have grown up; their priorities have changed, they've matured (unless they were denied the natural process of puberty of course), when they realize where the term "growing pains" comes from, and when they realize surgery doesn't heal trama nor does it cure mental health issues. . . after ALL that, I pray he still feels happy with himself and the decisions you didn't stop him from making. 🙏🏼

People make ALL kinds of decisions for there lives, marriages to the wrong person, divorces full of abuse and domestic violence cosmetic surgery for the sake of lifting your butt, But now your dead, going into business when they know nothing about business, loosing there life savings, gabling addiction, drug addiction, .. some of those things KILL the body.. Mind, and spirit. When my child was younger as long as I can remember he was not a girl, it showed in his behavior non stop. I would go into it, but why. So I ask why so much interest in some ones decision to be who they really are? Why not ask what will become of our nations Meth addition problem? Or homeless problem? OR if you want medical issues, the food we eat is killing us, vanity surgery's kill many, why do they have such low self esteem? why are they adducted to drugs? We can go on and on... so that's all I wanted to say. Just so you know.. He is now 29 years old, lives in a huge house with a pool his girlfriend and 2 Great Danes it enjoying not having to hide his true nature. Before this decision he was depressed and suicidal, now he is living a happy normal life. I could not ask for more. May you and your family also be blessed and happy with your life decisions.

On a lighter note, there was a man who wanted his dog neutered but didn’t want his dog to have a complex by not having any testicles. So somewhere online, ( what the heck did he Google for this I’ll never know), he found these fake rubber testicles for the vet to put in when he took the real ones out. It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen while working as a vet tech.

As someone in Veterinary Medicine myself I've been asked about more *testicle implants* then I ever expected. More of those inquiries came from those who have show dog's. The implants and surgery itself is quite expensive so our of reach for most people. It's not a surgery I perform myself though. To me personally it's almost as bad as ear cropping or tail docking which I also don't do for cosmetic reasons.

I have watched several Real Pride videos now and the one thing you can do better is to not misgender the trans people when you talk about them in past terms. The narrator calls Louise "a little boy" and "he" when referring back. That is not how you talk about trans people. It was the same thing in another video with trans children, a lot of misgendering. The people around them and the trans people themselves use the language they prefer, please respect that language and be consistent throughout.

I understand when people are attracted to opposite sex, when they don’t feel like being stereotypical man or woman, but why should anybody take hormones and get medical surgeries to become an opposite sex is beyond my understanding. Not only any medical surgery comes with the risk of complications, but in the case of transgenders it doesn’t even make sense as you can never actually change your biological sex! Nobody yet found a way to change peoples DNA. On a top of that, it is hard enough to find a soulmate Without this special situation, and love is the only thing that actually gives a meaning to one’s life: love to your partner, kids, yourself, life in general… in anyway, adults can do whatever they want with their lives and bodies, but allowing kids and teens transition is horrifying.
@freedomishealthy1086 Жыл бұрын
Plot twist: they aren't actually "born in the wrong" body, it's perfectly normal for people to be dissatisfied with their body and resistant to gender stereotypes. They don't actually get any happier role-playing the opposite sex and all they needed to do was accept themselves!

Transgenders need to be honest and tell their friends and any potential relationships especially love relationships who they are. People need to be told right from the start who is standing in front of them. I also believe you are the sex you are born in no matter what operation or pills you take. No hate here.

I agree with what your saying in many ways… i defo agree u need to be honest with your loved ones and I fully agree that at the end of the day you are what you are, except having surgery literally changes your genitalia so your birth certificate may say you are one sex except your body will say something very different, but at the end of the day you can’t change what your assigned at birth
