For those who don’t get what is up with the “cat” or what it’s point to the story was, it’s an alien species from the comics that has an collection of pocket universes inside its body, the species name is “fleken”[Google it for yourselves if you want] The Flerken (also called Flerkensas plural) are alien creatures resembling Earth's cats in appearance and behavior. They reproduce by laying up to 117 eggs and possess many tentacles that can extend from their mouths. Their bodies also hold pocket realities, bubbles of space and time that exist in other worlds. Earth-616 Captain Marvel's pet cat Chewie was a Flerken, but she was unaware of that fact. She came to learn this years after having Chewie, in a space adventure during which Chewie laid eggs. An abandoned laboratory hidden beneath the Ravencroft Institute contained a taxidermized Flerken, indicating visitations to Earth prior to Chewie's arrival. Earth-199999(mcu) A flerken named Goose was brought to Earth by Mar-Vell and lived with her while looking like a normal Earth cat. After Mar-Vell's death, Goose was left alone in the Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Facility until she met Nick Fury and Carol Danvers six years later. Fury took a liking to Goose, who snuck aboard the airplane that they used to escape from the base. Earth-18157 The Kree have launched a Flerken breeding program, seeding the creatures on inhabited worlds where they were adopted as pets because of their cuteness. The Kree then took control of the Flerkens with a signal beacon, directing them to attack the native species.The plan was foiled by Captain Marvel and the Guardians of the Galaxy, after which Carol tasked the Guardians with relocating all revealed flerkens on Earth to their new homeworld. Powers and Abilities Powers Pocket Dimensions: The species are said to be able to store entire universes within their mouths, within which they can access and store a great many things to draw upon at will. Tentacle Protrusion: Flerken possess a mess of tendrils kept within their mouths. They can use these for support and offensive tactics. Nested Mouths: Sprouted tendrils host a nest of fanged and ravenous maws which can bite down on and gobble up just about anything. Dimensional Travel: The sub-spaces within themselves can also be used as a means of instantaneous transportation; the process can be messy to say the least, however. At least in Earth-18157 all Flerkens share access to the same pocket dimension. If one survives being swallowed by a Flerken and is able to find their way back, the exit point can be from any Flerken anywhere. Toxicity: In the Earth-199999(mcu)reality, a scratch from a Flerken causes severe tissue damage to humanoids, as Nick Fury found out when a claw swipe from Goose to his left eye resulted in scarring and permanent loss of function. Abilities Human intellect: Able to understand cognitive conversation. Overwhelming cuteness Weaknesses Alien aspects are accessed through their oral cavity. If somehow muzzled, a Flerken is as helpless as an Earth cat. Habitat Population Earth-616: Dwindling (118 known living specimens) Earth-18157: Thriving Miscellaneous Representatives Chewie, Goose, Rocket, Rooster I hope this clarifies that the cat can work as an actual caracter insereas of a plot device Source *marvel database* page fleken but i genuinely found weird how they just decided the cats to Vore people when they have so much more(implied)potential via the pocket dimensional acess and conscious control and their intelligence being comparable to an base line mcu human giving them more capacity for situational awareness than just a base line animal

It really hurts me a bit, knowing they dragged Kelsey Grammer into this to reprise his role of Hank McCoy/Beast. Between his take and Nicholas Hoult's take on the character, Kelsey's was always a bit more appreciated because you just get a sense of lion-like regality - he was a congressman, and an ambassador to humanity for all mutant-kind... now I fear what Disney will do to him. *Edit:* I also just wanted to add that, according to a post I saw somewhere, the line "use Black Girl magic" was used in this film to apparently inspire Monica to fly... like, what the actual f*ck? _This_ is why I am against writers getting paid more if *_THIS_* is the sh*t they produce!

Almost every stupidity, contrivance, mistake, and character misfire seems to come down to lack of experience as well as lack of competence. With cameos of Howard Stark, General Ross, Nick Fury, and a young Bruce Banner. And a final battle with Thanos aboard the Sanctuary II. This film was where I drew the line - I haven't seen any of the films or shows that this film is meant to be a big crossover between, so I wouldn't understand it even if it was the best written film ever, but looking at the reviews of the original Captain Marvel, alongside all the drama and rumours surrounding this film in development, it didn't look like something I'd like at all. I felt a little mean for saying it, particularly after seeing its gleaming Rotten Tomatoes score, but I'm glad to know from reviews like this that I made the right decision!

remember when the mcu was supposed to be the grounded and realistic version of the marvel universe? basically a 1:1 version of our earth but with superheroes? nice. cuz now, in the modern mcu the sun can disappear and there's no negative effects on the solar system.

The way iron man…. An actual human being gets smacked around and isn’t in the hospital In avengers 1 is stupid.

Disney had a kid live in the stomach of giant bird monster in the Mandalorian too. That kid looked like his clothes weren't even wrinkled.

Every prop and set in that season looked like they came fresh out of a 3D printer - no knicks and post-touch ups to make them look realistic or lived in

I always look forward to you and Critical Drinker's reviews. It's the accent and the personality that makes the videos so entertaining.
@marbellaotaiza80111 ай бұрын
Will is becoming too mainstream, rubbing elbows with the pyreful, and cutting too much slack to Brie. I'm afraid we're losing him... If you like accents though, The Despot of Antrim is pretty cool too.
@lingricen807711 ай бұрын
Imagine being so stupid that you openly admit to watching critical drinker, which makes sense because you have to be stupid to watch him. Oh wait, you dont need to imagine it Oh wait again, you’re thus too dimwitted to realise I just burned you

Brie fans are in denial with their lame excuses. People were saying The Marvels would flop months before it came out. The Marvels is a terrible movie one of the worst ever.

How is it possible that you could make a better story in 15 seconds than a actual one hour plus movie….. since when was this the reality that we lived in? They even wasted one of the coolest post credit plot points, which they could’ve given to any other character (I was convinced they were going to introduce the X-Men in Multiverse of madness but they didn’t…….)
