The CGI looks like the animation from a 2000s video game. Also, I am now convinced a certain Scottish count's video on the Mapogo Lion Coalition should be mandatory for all children so people can understand how *actual* lions work: Yes, the female lions do a decent amount of hunting, but the males are both more active than some seem to think, and they are the ones who generally fight to either protect their prides (IE, their mates and cubs) or conquer other ones. I'm actually getting scared with how far modern writers have gone with demonizing men. Imagine if they demoralized and enraged 50% of the population so thoroughly that they decided to be the villains they're always portrayed as, since there's no gratitude or appreciation for the now deconstructed heroes.

Male lions sleep and do nothing. The females hunt raise the babies do everything while the males lazy around and lead the tribe Lions don't care about "feminism" This remark is just as insanely stupid as saying EUGHHHH praying mantises are such SJWs because they eat their husband's and hating having men around!!! Honestly, the idea of Rafiki telling Kiara the story of Mufasa and Scar could be interesting. Meybe Kiara is small and fears her brother will suplant her. Rafiki tells her about her great uncle and Grandfather. The idea that Mufasa and Scar got along in the beginning, but Scar's envy eventually led him into the dark and twisted being we see in Lion king is basic, but predictable. And the framing device woulf tie in. Even if the whole movie is unnecessary.

I’m pretty sure scar wanted to kill mufasa because Mufasa had betrayed him. Throughout the movie Scar had to save Mufasa multiple times from near death situations . On top of that he finds out that Mufasa is with sarabi when Mufasa knew that scar was into her. It’s still pathetic but atleast it makes a little more sense.
