Hi Pierrick ! I purchased your master rigging course and oh man , it’s so fantastic!! Before taking this course I had pretty much no knowledge about rigging but after going over all the materials over and over again, I feel comfortable making my own custom rig for my character. Thank you!

Played Doom Eternal yesterday, and stopped for a moment to look at some in-game flames, thinking it would be cool to learn how to make something similar in Blender... I'm beginning to suspect Monsieur Picaut has some kind of node setup that reads minds as well!

Another extra step you can take is to slap another simple deform modifier and atattch it to another emphty so you can simulate the wind affecting the flames. I'm guessing you should use the Y axis for this. Great tutorial Pierrick!

How can we make a fire around an object?
@ArghanionsPuzzlebox3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the video! I made a similar tutorial in the past but instead of using 2 d planes, I used a mesh with displacement mapping for getting the effect. The colors on your fire a better, though. Love it!

omg this is really great work!! i especially love the method where you use empty to move noise texture. One of the best fire tutorial of node out here in community. Also wanted to know if there is a way to use these textures in other software like unity or unreal is that even posiible!!

Really nice tutorial. Though wouldn't it be easier to use a blackbody node for the fire color?
@ScientObject402 жыл бұрын
Maybe more realistic, but it doesn't seem any easier or faster, but that's a good idea.

How can a vfx plane change to 3d? I'm very confused. Can you make a tutorial? Is there another way to make the vfx that we make look like 3D even if we only use a plane?
@danilob53043 жыл бұрын
hello when I try to save the rendered PNG the fire comes with a completely desaturated color completely different from the render itself, anyone got a workaround that?
@Wenedi3 жыл бұрын
Are you planning on including Blender -> Game engine transfer in the upcoming animation course? It would be useful as most of us are game artist :D
@PierrickPicaut_P2DESIGN3 жыл бұрын
I have already made a couple of free videos about htis topic and there is not that much to add. If I was to do a more in depth tutorial about this, this would be for free and not included in the animation course.
@papasalvo3 жыл бұрын
....wonder what happens if you did this on something like a sphere or a subdivided cube
@xicorulez3 жыл бұрын
Is it possible to export this to the unreal or marmoset?
@PierrickPicaut_P2DESIGN3 жыл бұрын
I don’t know but you can easily reproduced the process in unreal or unity with amplify shader or any similar nodal editor
