me too like exchange your viewpoints have a legitimate conversation dont just yell at eachother that solves nothing. democracies rely on truth, and truth is knowledge. They should enter every conversation or debate as an oppurtunity to discuss their beliefs and gain knowledge as to progress individually and collectively rather than relentlessly, and aggressively defending their subjective opinion so they can 'win' the argument.

Moocher was a pain to listen too - see how he tries to establish a center of cool at the start - calculating the "seconds" he spent in the WH for a cheap audience laugh and throw up a guise of a nice guy. Then watch as he becomes a panels worst nightmare, actively accusing someone of being emotional (aka 'inept'), even while he continues to take offense and pursue the topics thrown at him. The exchange with Donna about being cool looked like something out of kindergarden, two kids trying to one up one another about how "calm and collected" they were. Dude can't accept the fact Russia meddled. Dude won't take it seriously. Dude thinks Dems don't have candidates for Prez. Dude praises trump-populism and the subsequent decay of Western Democracy. The guy hurts my head. Panel got some good points in regardless (Bill at the end enforcing facts was my personal favorite), but boy was it unpleasant to listen to Mooch talk. Never an honest moment of genuine, bipartisan discussion.

Evidence? I don't know for sure, it was something about all of our intelligence agencies agreeing that Russia meddled in our election. Wikileaks and their releases are to be taken with a grain of salt. I remember how much ire they got from our society when they released those videos of military operations. Anyhow, IF what they provide us is unaltered truth, Donna should face the repercussions of helping her candidate unfairly prepare for a debate... Not nearly as dangerous as a foreign government meddling with our election with direct propaganda.

3 HUGE issues here, Bill's agenda clouds his ability these days to articulate properly, David's agenda ruining the discussion and The Mooch's inability to be anything but a stand in for The Fonz.

Holy fuck this entire panel was awful. Also, Mooch looks exactly like Glenn Danzig.

@omenroc17 жыл бұрын
Yeah. This particular panel was not going well at all, Scaramooche could have been a better guest without the other 2 .. D.B is a turd & that other guy is a turd too, he is a regular on Bill Maher’s show, though his name escapes me right now.

Say what!!! do you even know who Danzig is!! No comparison.. Really!! but it does make me somewhat interested in Mooch's music preference!

I didn't like Scaramucci when he was first in the spotlight, but in this instance he was making some decent point, before he was rudely interrupted multiple times with totally unrelated attacks! Donna Brazile should be hiding in shame from her involvement in DNC scandal. I don't know David Frum very well, but his personal attack to discredit Scaramucci was totally uncalled for while he was making some reasonable points. They could've waited for him to finish, before countering his "points" instead of going off to a totally unrelated topic to question his integrity. There's a reason Trump is president and establishment Democrats need to re-examine themselves and listen to people for a change!

Maher is great at what he does, but refereeing ain’t what he does... He missed a golden opportunity to have Frum and the Mooch go toe-to-toe on literally any issue. This could have been an awesome debate if properly officiated.

hiphopesq they went on about moochs stupid company literally zero relevancy

Mooch isn't an intellectual type of guy and Frum is. It would never work.
@GC-ps9mn6 жыл бұрын
And who would officiate it? That's why Bill shut it down, he didn't know anything about that question / issue. He has no problem with guests having arguments and debates on his show. He needs to know something about the issue though so he can moderate the debate and do some explaining for the audience.
@ryanfranks15186 жыл бұрын
Steve Lethal ...are you using “The Mooch” unironically? Getting overly defensive isn’t “ripping a new asshole.” And I am certain you have no clue who David Frum actually is.
