That's what happens when you give up on the ten commandments, there are consequences. Thou shalt nor bear false witness. Now we all lie, this commandment is an ideal given to us. People are perceived to have lost agency over their actions therefore they are beyond critism. Hence the lying on a grand scale that runs through society from top to bottom.

I love Jim Carry and feel I can relate to how he processes existence. If you have any whits about you and have survived to a certain age, the absurdity of life just percolates to the surface and what used to seem so complex and mysterious settles into a thick layer of obviousness and simplicity. People life in fear, not love and that is the basis for all our problems. Carrey realizes that we, as individuals, are a construct of our environment. If you don’t understand that, try imagining being born as a person as opposite to what you are as you possibly can. Would you be the you , you know now? Of course not. There is a core conscious and an outer shell we call ourselves and Jim sees that very clearly. Not many people see that, nor do they want to. To me, that’s not insanity, it’s a revelation that brings us all together in a beautiful way. Unfortunately, to most people our differences separate us in a dangerous way. Please find the common ground we all have. It is extremely important and how folks feel about that will save or destroy us.
