ek dam useless baat hai yeh. mostly buses me engine driver ke baaju me hota hai. Frontal impact se kuch farak nhi padta usse.

rear engine buses comes with modern air suspension technology for better stability and more comfort but the technology is very complex and high maintenance cost.

The problem with rear engine buses are about cooling. These buses are okay for cold regions but for tropical regions they get over heated. I suggest the technology used in diesel locomotives which converts internal combustion engine energy to electrical energy and then drives the wheels. Here the power output is optimal and power needed for each wheel can also be monitored and regulated as well

@@amit6844 No. This is the technology I am talking about Railway locomotives and traction drive technology independently applicable upon each wheel monitored through a central computer unit in the bus. Force required for each wheel is calculated by the CPU and the needed power will be transferred to it to rotate In normal buses you may see the free wheel spin but here it can be avoided as each wheel is driven by an independent motor.

@@kspradeep8397not practical at all, setup will be very costly. Plus you need a big alternator to produce high voltage which can run traction motors which will drive the wheels. It'll make the vehicle very expensive, heavy & fuel consumption will also increase.

It's easy to take out the engine if needed. Just disconnect the drive, unscrew from the chassis and a forklift can pull the engine out unlike front mount.

Sir, Ashok leyland 230hp bs4 bus gives mileage around 5kmpl. Does Volvo B8R euro6 bus give more mileage than leyland 230hp?

B8R (Both 12 and 13.5 M) gives 4 KMPL but notice weight here Ashok Leyland gives 4.5 - 3.5 KMPL (Not 5) For 16,200 KG load without AC While B8R gives 4 KMPL - 3 KMPL for 18,000 KG load that too with AC If B8R had same load as Leyland then it would give 4.4 - 3.5 KMPL with AC and 5.5 - 4.5 KMPL without AC whereas Leyland gives 4.5 - 3.5 KMPL without AC and with AC gives a damn low average of 0.75 - 0.50 KMPL. Volvo is better in terms of fuel efficiency. But a Eicher 6019 bus with 17,500 KG Load gives 6 KMPL - 5 KMPL without AC And 5.5 - 4.5 KMPL with 19,500 KG Load without AC. With AC It would give 4.25 - 3.5 KMPL at 17,500 KG load and 3.20 - 2.25 KMPL With 19,500 KG load. Leyland 3723 has 5.6 L 6 Cyl 230 HP 800 NM Volvo B8R has 8 L 6 Cyl 350 HP 1350 NM Eicher 6019 has 5.3 L / 5.1 L 4 Cyl 240 HP 900 NM Ab tu decide konsa accha h

Safety bahut saari cheejo pe depend karti hai,, jaisi ki agar ground clearance kam hoga bus ka and traction aacha hoga to gaadi zyada stable hokar ke chalegi to accident ke chances kam honge,, saftey ka matlb ye nahi hota only ki accident hone pe kitna impact aaya hai,,, safety features aese bhi hone chahiye ki accident kam se kam ho
