This $#**#(#&÷ (fill in with whatever words you want) liftgate glass was driving me crazy. How much grease, PBBlaster, WD40, can a hinge need? Ten minutes after watching this, I had the glass open!!! Both struts were frozen solid. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow! I haven't been able to open the rear window on my 2002 Trailblazer in 6 years (since I bought it!) - now I have hope. I was going to replace the lift gate hatch struts today ($11 for the pair from eBay) anyway - cause I'm tired of getting whacked in the head. Will check window today and fix as necessary.
