Thanks Shane, that means a lot to me. In the end, that’s one thing no one can take away from you. The give away will occur in the coming weeks (along with the OBDII reader from the last release). Cheers😎👍

$10 sheet of coreflute from Bunnings does the job, just done a 14,000 k SA,NT, WA half lap incl Gibb, Kimberlies & Pilbara roads, towing hybrid, saved the rear window numerous times, second time Ive used it. $320 for the Rhinohide, dreamin.

Yes indeed, nothing wrong with coreflute. I’ve used cardboard successfully as well. 😎👍

I’ve been contemplating doing it for my 200. I’ve got the panels. Love the product.

Thanks, Terry, for the update on the rear window protector. I feel your pain. I've broken two rear windows in the FJ; the joys of towing a shame they don't have anything anymore for the FJ

Yes that is a bummer Ed. Looks like a bit of cardboard taped to the back for you🥴👍

Great video Terry, the fixing issue could easily sorted by making the key L shaped double ended with one end shorter like a cheap Allen key
@JafffaAdventures

That would do the trick Peter. Thanks for tuning in mate😎👍

Hey Uncle Terry, another interesting vid m8. Looks like a great product and immensely useful for us that tow;-) I like the idea in the comments re using the raven seal round the edges:-)
@JafffaAdventures

Yes indeed Craig, that is a good idea especially if your back windscreen is not obstructed. Cheers

A strip of Raven brand RP59 weather seal tape (or similar) from the big green shed around the outside aid immensely in keeping the dust and dirt out from between the two surfaces if seeing out the back is something you need.

Hi Terry - very helpful review as always from you, thanks. The product looks great (albeit very expensive for what it is) but I'm interested to know whether the surface becomes scratched after cleaning, have you noted anything along those lines? I'm assuming a decent blast with the hose initially would dislodge most dirt but any sort of cleaning on plastic / acrylic usually leaves scratches and swirls.
@JafffaAdventures
@JafffaAdventures 27 күн бұрын
You are dead right Peter, most plastics leave swirls and scratches. This one has not. I'm not sure why, maybe I have not been aggressive enough, but it is scratch and swirl free ATM. Thanks for watching. Cheers

Terry I have one on my 200 as I tow. I do have a stone stomper however still put one on for protection rowing. Very happy with the installation and they are fairly simple to remove when washing the car. I am interested in your longer term feedback. For me so far so good.

PS I purchased an Allen key style key which has a right angle that solves the top two that are hard to get to. 🤞

Thanks Terry for another product to mull over. If i ever tow I'll be considering this, for sure! When do we get to see you do the the Simmo again? It seems like that yeah is becoming a highway (on KZbin) but I'll still get there, one day 👍

@@JafffaAdventures yeah, The Madigan Line, very few do it so it'll be good to see and hear it from you guys. Glad to know you'll be pumping out videos, like you do, until the end of 26, at least! 🤣 Cheers for all you do 👍

Cheers mate ... another awesome video. I was thinking what it might be like in the dust, but as you said, one usually has crap to the roof on a big trip. I'd beinterested to know what its like with road grime and in the rain, please!! Thanks!!
@JafffaAdventures
@JafffaAdventures Ай бұрын
Road grime and rain tend to get on the panel surface, but not really behind it on the glass like the dust. I guess it’s not quite as mobile as the dust. It’s not perfect, but not bad. Thanks for tuning in. Cheers😎👍
