Brilliant video man! They are all such good tips 👍 Definitely subscribing 😄 Can you do the time stretch of the sample on much older versions of Reson? Like #3 🤭
@Cap10NRGMusic10 ай бұрын
Oh good question! Unfortunately, I don’t think I have a copy of three that I can use anymore… They took away the ability to update licenses now on the older versions. And I’m trying to remember which version of reason actually started doing audio I think it was three, where they brought in Record which was an older a reason Studios product. I can’t remember, but I believe it worked in parallel with reason so if you had it, all of a sudden you had the ability to do audio in reason and then maybe in reason four or five they decided OK we can’t sell these two separate products let’s integrate because everybody else is doing it that way… So they did that one reason start being able to do audio and all the cool stuff it can do now. There are ways to get that sample time stretched… But you might have to go outside of reason for it. There’s a free tool called audacity, you’ve probably heard of it. If you haven’t, you should definitely get It. It’s free like I said it’s open source and it’s amazing. Probably one of the best free audio tools out there that is consistently getting better and still remains free that would allow you to do stretching on your samples. You have to export them and then re-import them into reason, but you could definitely do that there. Sorry, I just can’t remember back that far. Whether reason did it back then or not. If I find an old version of reason installed one of my older machines, I’ll let you know I have a couple older machines lying around that have been powered up in a while… Maybe one of them has it on there… Only problem might be I don’t know if I’ve got a fob around for that still or if it will work

in cubase and Ableton all loops in Browser are automatically synced to bpm.. this is another reason why people nolonger use reason how the f*** is it so difficult for them to do it too

I personally like the control you get in Reason. I also use CUBASE and if the loop is not a package cut to size loop it has issues mapping to the tempo. Reason does have loops that auto map to tempo… but like every other DAW when you start dropping stuff in and don’t trim it up… you need to do some manual cleanup work. They’re all just tools. Use what you like…

so complicated,in cubase its automatic in tempo,its 2023 wth

Sorry you feel like it’s complicated - it’s actually not really though and it give you all kinds of possibilities. I use both CUBASE and Reason (depending on my mood). There are other ways to make your loops snap in Reason like Dr Octo-rex

That mouse is distracting
@Cap10NRGMusic Жыл бұрын
Sorry about that. I think I can hide the most, but then you never know what I was clicking… So it’s kind of a catch 22 or would add a ton of extra work for me to add fake mouse clicks back into the videos after… And honestly, I think Id miss a bunch of them, so sorry about that but I think the mouse is gonna have to stay. Thanks for the comment. Hopefully you found a video useful anyway don’t forget to like and subscribe if you did. Have a great day!
