@@zay0_n4ra11 All physical games and digital you bought work offline 100% as long as you boot them once while being connected to the internet, so it can download and store the license locally. Game Pass games are bit iffy. Some work offline, some don't. But I guess it should be expected since it's a digital service.

I absolutely love my series x. Took me two years to get it due to not wanting to pay scalpers. I wanted to get it from a retailer, where I would have some protection in case anything went wrong with it. And I wanted to only pay retail price. PS5 is still impossible to pick up. Seems to be by invitation only.. but all my games, and I have a huge Xbox library, all the way back from 360. A ton of physical media. And those games look amazing. I finally started Ori and the will…. And Xbox upscales that to 6k.. it’s amazing. This is a beast of a machine.. also Ray Traced lighting isn’t just a gimmick. It looks incredible

I’ve had nothing but awful customer service with Sony although I prefer the PS5, but the awful experiences are likely enough for me to keep the series X and send the PS5 back. The most important thing to me are (exclusive) games. And PS5 is 20 times better here for my taste. Most games on the XBox you either get for PS5 too or PC. So far I don't care for the XBox much, because of a the lack of interesting new next gen games. I don't care for old games. If old games is what you're after, get the XBox. Everyone else get the PS5. I own both consoles now by the way. PS5 is the clear winner for me and I don't agree with this video. ;-)

Just bought an Xbox Series X a few days ago for 500$ and I'm loving it. Before that I bought a Series S a month ago and loved it as well. So much so that in fact, I decided to upgrade to Series X and I sold S for 200$. Just to make Xbox available for more people. I'm loving it so far. Was a bit difficult to adapt to controller as I used to play only on PC. But 500$ compared to a 1500$ machine makes much more sense if you just want to play games. No offense to PC tho, just that xbox makes it more convenient and affordable for me. I'm excited to see what new games bring to the table, till then I have a lot of catching up to do with older games.

Back Compat was the selling point for me.Although I noticed that I couldn’t transfer my OG XBox saves to the cloud from my 360. I think there’s an option to do a WiFi transfer between the machines though.

They're both great consoles, but after trying a PS5, I just couldn't get over the D-pad placement in relation to the left analog stick. It was especially annoying playing Elden Ring. Maybe it's because I've grown up with Xbox since the original, but the ergonomics on their controllers have been perfect since the 360. Plus, I don't much care for the PS5's bulky design and popped collar. I'll probably have both down the road, but for now I'm looking forward to my Series X showing up (finally).

@@paulgarner3610 ps5 download are full speed, but xbox if you are playing, caps to 10mbps and need to stop the game to get full download speed, and xbox has a lot of bugs, where you start a download and after 1 hour, not download anything and the game is not in the download list anymore and you need to go to the store and press download again

Thanks for the video, great format and nice clear audio 👌🏽 one thing I really couldn’t help but mention is the quick resume feature, it is the most annoying thing on the series X. As all the games that I play are online, it will lose connection and I will end up having to quit out of the game and relaunch again, taking more time than what it would have if it just did that from the start. Saving grace is that the Xbox is so damn fast that it doesn’t really bother me to have to relaunch a game. It’s a bit of a bummer that I’ve never got to experience this supposedly awesome feature

Im a Sony player until this gen I bought both systems and so glad I did. As many say the same thing online who bought both that their ps5 collects dust until a new exclusive comes out but they play the xbox all the time I agree with this. Quick resume and gamepass is unbeatable IMO. If you're on the fence on which next gen system to get I reccoment you get both or if you can only choose one get a xbox. They have leadership and Microsoft backing them now and they have went from no games to being home of WRPG and FPS in only a year also rumours from insiders Take two are being bought so GTA etc will be xbox owned. The thing with the controllers aswell PS5 has a stick drift problem and its only going to get worse, The built in mic is amazing and the haptics well they're only really good for showing friends and family a lot of us just turn them off especially in shooting games. Xbox controller is good but it does need a built in mic now after using ps5 controller other then that a really good controller.

The controller is subjective I personally like the series controller over the PS5 as far as feel and design. The PS5 does have adaptive feedback but I see that more as a gimmick that really won't be practical in game. Also the battery tends to run out quickly.

Just moved from PS4 Pro to Xbox Series X. The only thing I miss about the PS (besides alot of great memories) is GT7. That was the one game that made me hesitate but in the end I just went for the Series X which I'm delighted with. I have purchased Flight Simulator which isn't available on PS so that's a fair swap for GT7 I think.

My favorite games have been Halo and Gearz and now that Xbox is on a killing hunt for studios such as Bethesda, which I love... I'm even more excited for the future of Xbox.

I’ve got the X and the PS5, and my 2 kids have a Series S each as well. Game pass is awesome in this regard, myself and the kids can go nuts with all the games and doesn’t cost a fortune. But I still think the PS5 has better exclusive games, God of War and Uncharted for example have immersive stories and makes you want to keep playing. Haven’t seen anything like them from Xbox just yet.

I have games for every Xbox generation on disk, getting a new Xbox series X was the only possible choice. The boost on some older games is amazing. I also want to use a 1440 monitor, only a Xbox does this. And I prefer the games available on the Xbox. The playstation exclusives genuinely don't appeal to me, and it's not a fan boy thing as I have owned playstation and playstation 2 in the past. In reality I don't care what console you own, if your happy that is all that counts.

@Rubi I have noticed a lot of old games are running smoother ,it seems a better FPS rate and the graphics are improved, in some cases it's very noticeable and a huge difference, sometimes it's more subtle. Obviously load times are much better. Quite a lot of older Xbox games just run smoother and cleanly and make for a better play experience in general. I must admit although I was looking forward to getting an Xbox one series X ( only recently managed to get one a couple of weeks ago) it has so far exceeded my expectations.

Maybe later on Xbox will flip the script but as of now more games are smaller on playstation. Again it depends on the game and developer but it doesn't really matter because 808gb or 667gb is still both trash and 364gb is horrific for long term use. No matter what console you choose the real choice is wether you wanna delete games every time you buy a new one or spend and arm and a leg on extra storage. I generally love to use my Xbox more than my PS5 but I've seen both first hand and online how a good chunk of games are smaller.

I have both consoles and I don't see a need to go buy one particular console over another one. Just get both (or get one now and get the other one later). What do you actually gain from trashing the other console(s)? Both are selling well partially because gaming PCs are currently quite expensive. Sony (PS5) is still about those exclusives and counting on some of them would entice people to buy PS5 consoles. However, it will be tougher this time around because Sony has a lot of sequels and it is not that easy to impress people with sequels. The most annoying part is that Sony raised the base price of PS5 games. Series S|X currently still heavily dependent on GamePass (don't get me wrong, GamePass is fantastic). The benefit of new studio acquisition exclusives will take time. Are they real exclusives though given that they will be on PC and most likely cloud too. Wasn't that an issue with XBox One? How do you convince people with quality gaming PCs that Series S or X is worth getting? It's tough for both camps with Apple already getting more gaming profit just from that 30% cut (more than both Microsoft and Sony combined profits from gaming). Also, Microsoft and Sony are not 100% pure competitors anymore, in some areas, they are providing services to each other. Sony uses Microsoft Azure cloud, and now publishes games on Microsoft store (i.e. MLB the Show). Microsoft will honour prior exclusive agreements between Bethesda and Sony. Even if Sony (or Microsoft) ended up winning this gen of console war, it could be a somewhat hollow victory. Quite a number of 3rd party gaming publishers are predicting this might be the final generation of gaming consoles before cloud gaming + mobile gaming completely take over.

I was a ps guy for a very long time until the release of the next gen consoles in November of 2020. I decided to go with both the ps5 and Xbox series x. Like I’ve heard a lot of people say, it’s the same for me, I play my PS5 purely for exclusives and that’s on a few exclusive, everything else on my series x. I even tested the loading times with my brother on the ps5, me on the series x and he only got me on one game out of 15.

I have owned every generation of Xbox and playstation . The Xbox 360 was probably my favourite console ever. I own both the PS5 and series X. I tend to play more on my PS5 because I like the adaptive triggers. Also I tend to play more single player story driven games. The Series X though has game pass which is amazing Value. If I could only afford one console I would probably choose the Xbox Series X. My reasoning behind this is that Xbox as of late just seems more consumer friendly. Plus they are starting to aquire more studios. In my opinion in the next few years Xbox will have just as good if not better single player story driven games. Also they have game pass, which is well worth the money. Whatever console you choose you will not be disappointed.

I’m lucky to own both consoles, mostly picked up the series x for the backwards compatibility. However, I’ve experienced major issues with several triple a games, Forza Horizon 4 and 5, Gears 5 amongst those that simply won’t load up, getting to the title screen and crashing every time. I have never experienced this with any PS5 title. It’s a highly frustrating problem with no real solution working posted from forums. I think it’s a big deal that many games simply don’t work on a brand new next generation console series x.

Looks like a problem with your Xbox. I haven't had any problems playing FH4 or Gears 5 on my Series X. Or any other game.

many people didn't realized that backward compatibility is not all about old games MS commitment to backward compatibility also about your recent purchases of new games it's whether you are forced to buy remaster or director's cut or buy upgraded version of your already own games for the next gen console, or all of your games and saves will carry on to the next gen for free with no fuss with MS commitment to backward compatibility, I'm sure it's the latter 😍👍

I went from Xbox 360 to PS4, then just recently bought a Series X. The biggest frustration for me is not being able to see my PS4 catalogue upgraded to 4k60. Game Pass is nice for trying games you might be on the fence about but let's be honest, very few must-haves there. But back compat and smart delivery is nice. Hoping Bethesda doesn't let me down!

i was set for a ps5 before watching this video. but the resume feature seems amazing for a dude that barely has time to game (12-13hr shifts, 5days a week). in NZ ps5 going for $899, but xbox series x going for $849 with forza horizon 5 and hotwheels track. definitely a good video!!!

I chose a PS5 because I mostly play on PC where I have Game Pass as well and can play the XBOX games. I also like the PS exclusives more and want to play on my LG Oled TV without carrying my PC back and forth from another room. I also think the Xbox has a bit more power and is the better console overall but I simply don't need one in my situation.

Many games you buy on Xbox you get the PC version included for free and vice versa if you buy the PC version from the Windows store you get the Xbox version included for free. Also, you can continue where you left off on PC on your Xbox and vice versa thanks to cross platform saves. Those capabilities far outweigh paying $500 for a console just for 3-5 "Sony exclusives" to me. I can pick up a PS5 when the price drops just to play whatever few "exclusives" I'm interested in. By then there will actually be enough even available to make it worth buying one. Assuming they're not all on PC.

Has to be xbox for me because of the value.... 50 years old, work full time, spouse doesn't play, 4 kids and very little time to play. Kids play online only. 3 series x's 1 xbox one x Gaming laptop gtx 1660 ti Gaming PC gtx 1660 ti Have to pay 2 gamepass ultimate subscriptions but it allows for 4 of us to play the same game together online at the same time! Haven't had to buy a single game since gamepass. I can afford a PS5 but literally no time to play it and fat chance convincing the spouse another game console is needed. Sucks because I love Sony and Nintendo games as well. Enjoy your games everyone and wish you all the best in life.

I own them both, and this is my first ever Xbox (which I play the most). To me, the PS5 controls feels clunky on certain games where on the Series X they feel very smooth. There are pros and cons, but it really depends on which one you like.

So, bought an Xbox for the first time in my life, and I don't regret it. Gamepass is great value for what you're paying for. You get hundreds of games for about €15 a month. Bought one just because PS5 is not available and fortunately it wasn't. I really enjoy my xbox. Maybe just missing some console exclusives but everything else are available.

The main thing I don’t like, which you mentioned liking on your video, is Xbox’s memory expansion. A 1TB card for the Series X was $249, I think they’re on sale now for $199. Meanwhile, you have your pick of upgradable memory for the PS5. A 1TB SSD is currently running (Firecuda) for $139.

Don’t ever buy the digital versions. It’s a fucking joke. Purchased a Xbox game online on their servers and was forced to do a factory reset of my xbox. So I lost all of my downloaded games. *No worries it’s all backed up online right? FUCK NO. I purchased this game when I first bought my Xbox One. Logging into my account I find out this game is missing in my owned games library. I called Microsoft, their customer service is a joke by the way, they tell me I had NEVER owned this game and looking at my achievements it says I was playing the PC version. I DONT EVEN GAME ON PC DONT OWN A PC AND NEVER HAVE PLAYED GAMES ON ONE!!! But, because I can’t “prove” I purchased this game I’m screwed out of a game I paid $60 to have. PS3 can just be streamed whilst PS4 games can be downloaded and played. Expect streaming issues with the older games. Game Pass let’s you download older games and play them plus it had new release Xbox Game Studios games released day and date

It means you are streaming the game similar to how you stream a movie with Netflix. You aren’t running the game locally on your hardware. You are basically playing it via the internet. The problem with this is that you can get connection problems so performance and visuals can suffer plus you get input latency as well i.e there can be a slight delay from when you hit a button on the controller to when you see the actions on screen

As a PS5 and Series X owner from day one release of both console I TOTALLY agree with everything in this very concise video. My PS5 has been a bit of a disappointment compared to the Series X over the past year and whilst I game on my Series X on a daily basis, my PS5 is pretty much a dust collector these days. I still cannot believe what a turn around this gen has been in comparison to lasts gen. Microsoft are REALLY knocking it out of the park each month, while Sony seem to be like a deer stuck in the headlights.

@@MaxPowerPlay Definitely not. I HATED the first game and the sequel looks like more of the same. I should mention though that Sony has totally burned me out on "third person, cut scene heavy, story driven, action adventures" over the past 5 or 6 years with almost every first party release from them being essentially the same game with a different coat of paint. Plus I personally have an issue with a game that forces you to play as a little girl. ;) I much prefer open world RPG's, first person shooters, dungeon crawlers etc.. That's just my personal taste in gaming (enjoying Halo Infinite, Generation Zero and Powerslave Exhumed at the moment), and I'm sure there are many out there who will enjoy Forbidden West, which is cool, it's just not for me.... so my PS5 will have to keep collecting dust for a little longer (hoping Sony announce something decent like a new Killzone or Resistance game in the near future).

what was the last straw for me with the ps5 was after 2 years of not even seeing the console in person, i finally get to play it and the controller is just unfortunatly uncomfotable. it really sucks cuz it just feels like theyre thinking was " its the ps5, it has to LOOK like no else." the ds5 only looks good. and after years of using the ds4 and really comprehending how much better it was to the ds3. its a damn shame that that was the final thing.

But for now I will be testing the waters with the series s just get a first fill coming from a (xbox one s) bye the time I get to a series x we will be on the 10th generation gaming consoles. For one reason why I don't waste my time and money on buying gaming consoles when it comes out. 1. Technical issues 2. Scalpers and trippling the price of the (MSRP) 3. High an demands issues 4. Software and Hardware concerns chip shortages. This is why I say waiting for a new gen-console is worth it you will think me later on. I will save you a lot of money and headaches along the way.
