I have reattached my locs! I only cut about 12 of them (shaved my side) they were 10 years old when I cut them. Wore a shaved side for 2 years and just reattached them 3 days ago. Your work is fire 🔥. And yes.. I saved my own locs. I’m not attaching another persons energy to my head. Reuse your own locs!

I cut off my locks 3 years ago. Grew my locks for 10 years. I just relocked my hair after 2 years of cutting it. Ima add my 10 years back tomorrow. Now I'm at shoulder length, with my old locks attached I'll be down past my waist. I do miss em

Ive had to reattach a couple that thinned out. tbh its a headache because with my texture hair, it's not permanent. They usually come out on wash days an im always paranoid ima lose one in public. Anywas 20 years growin my hair 14 years wih locs and tbh ive been ready to chop for the past 6 years just haven't gathered the courage.

@@Diyvine-lj7fi I did, but what you said is not exactly true. 1. WE dont all have the same texture hair. In the front my hair is a little thinner than most with locs hints the reason I spent almost a month looking for a loctitiion that could help me start my journey when I started. Most just told me my hair was too thin for locs. 2. if the hair is not rooted in your head its not permanent. All you are doing when you are crocheting is tangling the hairs together. The thicker and more course your hair type the better but trust, if you lavender it enough when washing and it gets pulled on it could absolutely become detached. Reattached locks are nit as stable as locks that are naturally attached to your head.

Lol, trust after 14 years maintaining locks that grew past my waist I know what im talking about. Crochet locks do not have the same integrity as the ones naturally attached to your head, especially if you have thining hair like mine.

They detoxed them first, which has a color, then they dyed them, which requires multiple rinses, and that water has a color all its own.
