Forgive. That's a mighty big word for such a small man. Powerful!
@wstavis3135 Жыл бұрын
It's not "powerful". It is evocative, a great insult, or a perfect description. "Powerful" would be "You know what they say, forgive and forget, relive and regret". The first does nothing to help you, her or anyone live their lives. It is a great dig at a person who's hurt you. The second is a map to move on.

I'm 30 now and I started to get into country big because of my Grandpa.. I remember listening to this and being so into this music when I was 12-18 or so. I still love the classics back to George Strait and I remember identifying so much with this song when my first love broke my heart. There really is nothing like country music. A good country song is timeless.

Kylee Howard Wrong Wrong Wrong. She did not quit because she made lots of money. Far from it actually. She quit because the record label she was with went under. Same with the next two labels she used. She writes music for several artists these days, and sing at the Grand Ole Opry. She came out with a new album a year or two ago and sales weren't good. Yes she's from Kentucky, Salyersville ky to be exact. To be related to her I've never seen you at our family reunions. I however am related to her. I know her mother and father well. My mother went to school with hers. They grew up together. If you're going to spew crap at least make it halfway true damn.

When this song came out, my kids were babies. I have loved the song ever since. My baby boy would sing this at the top of his little lungs at 4 years old. Never, did I ever for one moment, think that I would live this song. 20 years later, and now, I just can’t forgive and it’s been 4 years ago. It’s like a nightmare I can’t wake up from. I thought I could forgive and I took him back. I made a mistake. I don’t know who I am anymore. Probably too much info, but I needed to spill my guts to someone.
