The music is pleasant to the ear, but behind the music there is a strong poison. It is no surprise! For Satan himself transformed himself into an angel of light. 2. Corinthians 11:13-21. What is hidden behind such music? nudity, swearing, pride, careerism, drugs, fornication, apostasy from God. Let’s go to the Bible and find out. Satan has profound musical ability. It’s not a hard to imagine a supernatural being helping artists create beats and melodies we humans find irresistable. -- I don’t think it’s a coincidence that artists who promote things contrary to the Bible often enjoy a meteoric, even supernatural rise. Satan was involved with music in Heaven. Of the events taking place immediately after Lucifer's/Satan's fall and expulsion from heaven. Obviously, though he no longer directs heaven's choir, he still has vast musical ability. The two Scripture passages that describe Satan before he fell. Ezekiel 28:13 --- All that seems to make sense. Let’s go to the Bible and find out. Considering the fact that the angels constantly worship God (Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8), it that Satan led that worship. One thing is sure: for Satan to rebel despite having such an exalted position and close relationship with God, the devil is surely due his eternal destiny (Revelation 20:10). -- Satan was clearly a leading or the leading angel in heaven. This detail is not directly answered in Scripture. He would have worshiped God as other angels did, likely including worship through song or possibly an instrument. Yet his fall led to his rejection from his position and a future eternal torment (Revelation 20:10). Satan now serves his own agenda, living as a liar and father of lies, seeking those he can devour (John 8:44; 1 Peter 5:8). In connection with Satan's possible use or leadership of music in heaven, some see concerns regarding certain music on earth being used by Satan as well. - However, music was created by God to bring glory to Him. Believers must be discerning in their own use of music to make sure their choices honor the Lord rather than serve their own interests or dishonor the Lord through promoting sinful actions that promote the work of the evil one. Of the events taking place immediately after Lucifer's/Satan's fall and expulsion from heaven. --- Satan stood in amazement at his new condition. His happiness was gone. He looked upon the angels who, with him, were once so happy, but who had been expelled from Heaven with him. Before their fall, not a shade of discontent had marred their perfect bliss. Now all seemed changed. Countenances which had reflected the image of their Maker were gloomy and despairing. Strife, discord, and bitter recrimination, were among them. Previous to their rebellion these things had been unknown in Heaven. Satan now beholds the terrible results of his rebellion. He shuddered, and feared to face the future, and to contemplate the end of these things. The hour for joyful, happy songs of praise to God and his dear Son had come. Satan had led the heavenly choir. He had raised the first note, then all the angelic host united with him, and glorious strains of music had resounded through Heaven in honor of God and his dear Son. But now, instead of strains of sweetest music, discord and angry words fall upon the ear of the great rebel leader. Where was he? Was it not all a horrible dream? Was he shut out of Heaven? Were the gates of Heaven never more to open and admit him? The hour of worship draws nigh, when bright and holy angels bow before the Father. No more will he unite in heavenly song. No more will he bow in reverence and holy awe before the presence of the eternal God. Could he be again as he was when he was pure, true and loyal, gladly would he yield up the claims of his authority. --- But he was lost! beyond redemption, for his presumptuous rebellion! And this was not all; he had led others to rebellion and to the same lost condition with himself-angels, who had never thought to question the will of Heaven, or refuse obedience to the law of God till he had put it into their minds, presenting before them that they might enjoy a greater good, a higher and more glorious liberty. This had been the sophistry whereby he had deceived them. A responsibility now rests upon him from which he would fain be released. --- Obviously, though he no longer directs heaven's choir, he still has vast musical ability. And he uses the music in combination with the message he wishes to promote. The backmasking for certain musical pieces is incredible--not even a modern computer (ChatGPT?) could likely produce anything like it: whole sentences that, played backwards, result in intelligible whole sentences with a different set of consonants. The world's best poets do not have this skill without supernatural assistance. devil-music-the-occult-beatles.webnode.sk/

Iconic song and was number one 30 years ago in the UK. In fact it literally STAYed at the top for a staggering 8 weeks. This set a new record for the longest stay at the top for an all female assembly...and 30 years later it still holds the record. Great band, great song.

It was quality over quantity in 1992 as most singles were low selling. This, however, is still an exceptional gothic ballad 30 years on.

I had this song come into my head as i remember my dad playing this when i was young. Brings back some great memories he died 6yrs ago of lung cancer so the beginning bit brought back some bad memories on top of good. My dad use to always say be good if not be very very bad. Forever loved and forever missed never forget him as he was one of the best dads you could ask for. Stuck by me through some tough times never once turned his back on me. Although I was doing alot of bad things where I have seen parents disown their children for less. We were very poor but very much loved. See ya soon dad love you as I'm sure this is a sighn from you letting me know your energy still flows.

When my Dad was in hospital he was upset with tubes in his throat and I heard him say to Mum that he'd had enough, he'd had a lovely life with her, but he wanted to stop. The only time I heard Mum swear was when she told him "Don't you bloody dare". And the line here "But if you try to go on alone, don't think I'll understand" is that in song. They lived another 10 years and more together.
