YES!!! OMG I'm so glad that you did this! Jeremy Soule is one of my favorite composers ever (certainly my favorite western composer) and I love his OSTs for the Elder Scrolls series beyond words, a lot of the tracks from Oblivion and Skyrim are so very emotional for me, I would listen to them again during night strolls among Nature or when moongazing, and it always makes the moment so special and otherworldly. And what you did, that powerful tribute, in your own amazing style and covering those very same melodies, is simply the best gift for me. I recognize all those tracks that I know very well and that move me so much, and your take on them is so wonderful to get, I appreciate it on so many levels, as a heartfelt tribute, as rearrangements, as an emotional callback... it's amazing

Congratulations on this excellent work! To me, the medley sounds as it would suit a Skyrim not harmed by the war and the dragons, allowing it's people to appreaciate the breathtaking scenary of their land, keeping the solemn tune to show the vestiges of the harsh and epic events that took place there. On the "negative" note, I was hoping you would gift us with a sung theme like "The dragonborn comes", but maybe it wouldn't blend in with the rest. Did I already say it was an excellent work? It is!

It-s a wonderful take on Skyrim, given that most points of view go on the more violent direction. About the bar songs, having heard some soft sung covers of them, and your version of Eyes on Me, the idea of them being included in the medley sounded great. Oh well, I hope the future does bring more of your voice in some videos.

The weather guy is saying ten to sixteen inches of show thanks to the lake (plus whatever falls on Sunday), so I guess there's no better time to be listening to Skyrim music-it feels and looks like it outside! :P To be honest, I think you went and nailed it yet again- the music does sound much warmer than the in-game version. There's a softer side to the men and women of Skyrim, they just don't get a chance to really display it much because of everything going on (dragons, the Thalmor, the civil war). I love your take on Dovahkiin- it makes me think of how they might have sung and toasted the Dovahkiin around the taverns of Skyrim after they put paid to Alduin for good. ...I wish I had more to say- I love the arrangement, but I'm having trouble remembering the original versions because I haven't played Skyrim in months (ever since my 360's power brick started buzzing loudly, I think it's a short). Hopefully there'll be one under the tree this Christmas... Have you played Skyrim? I think my best file has... maybe a hundred hours on it.

I'm using Ableton as my DAW and I work primarily with midi that I arrange in sheet music notation in a different program. As for VSTs, I use Eastwest and Garritan ones. What about you? I took a peek at your channel, and your music is a fairly different style from mine also! What are you thinking of working on?

Amazing work, brother. What Sample libraries did you use, they sound pretty good. I use the Spitfire Albion Products for my main orchestral libraries and some others for Eastern, Middle-Eastern and old European Instruments.. Your mixing and mastering was done extremely well. I know its 6 years later but Thank you, I enjoyed every second of it.

Hehehe! Thanks! It was actually kind of endearing the way you politely asked me to disregard, haha! Well, I'm already planning on doing a Skyward Sword medley (I have the order all planned and done a tiny bit of preliminary work) but I'll probably not ever do those other two, since I never played either game. I've seen quite a bit of Fallout (a couple of the games) and am somewhat familiar with them. Still, the music never really spoke to me, to be honest. I tend to prefer Japanese soundtracks substantially, from a purely aesthetic standpoint. Also, I find a lot of cinematic "movie" type music to be uninspired at best. There are some exceptions, of course! Fallout did have a couple of humdingers, in my opinion! I've not listened to Destiny's music or seen the gameplay, however, so I have no opinion. ^^ My favorite "cinematic" type soundtracks were Skyrim and Lord of the Rings. They both had a lot of memorable, melody driven songs that were about more than just creating tense action packed noise or manipulating the emotions of the listener in the standard ways. In short, some music seems to have more of its own merit, whereas some tends to be cliched orchestral background noise. I sort of went on a bit of a rant there, but it's a topic that really interests me!
