Trying not to be emotional but damn, I missed her so much. The fact that she admitted that she was a drug addict, and overcome it just prove that she is a warrior! Welcome back Demi!

This is such a twisted way of thinking. There is some awful parenting happening. You are not a "warrior" for doing drugs and especially to the point of overdosing and then stopping. The "warrior" fights through this brutal life without a crutch like drugs. Heartbreaking to hear so many echo these sentiments. No one discusses those that are brave enough to not self destruct. You don't have to screw your life up to have worth.

I think one thing I learned from singers/youtubers I look up to recently that dealt with drug addiction or eating disorders if once you are an addict you are forever an addict. I was already so emotional because of Kobe and her daughter's death then I watched Demi and now I am a crying mess. I love how vunerable she is, she is so brave to open up and share her story. This just goes to show that no matter what status you have in life you go through same pain and struggles like everyone. Artist are humans too. Thank you for this 💗

Rebekah King Art doesn't have to be perfect, it's anything that moves people.

Shawn Garcia Agreed! That was my point... You can have perfect, flawless performances, but emotion, vulnerability is what MOVES people. Moves others to empathy, to change, a multitude of different things.

I remember that performance on American Idol, it was amazing. Also reminds me of Salena Gomez performing the heart wants what it wants. A perfect performance is good and fun but its the emotional ones I always remember.

I can’t believe I missed this reaction. I love how connected you get and again, “I don’t care if it’s pitchy” shows you care about it all. In Demi’s SNL performance of Stone Cold, she cracks on the higher notes and I loved it. Thank you for doing you.

I love, Demi. I was in tears immediately. I was right there with you and her. Watching it live was very hard. Cried then too. Anyway, she has come so far and I think we are all rooting for her to stay clean and, Demi, WE ARE ALL LISTENING. Great react, love. Muwhaa!

Everyone keeps talking about Kobe and his daughter, what about the other people that died in the crash? I feel so bad for their families- they’re overshadowed and it’s heartbreaking.
@MC-oj4en4 жыл бұрын
Everyone that posted online also mentioned the other passengers. Theyre names werent releaeed but maybe one other. His daughter wasn't even mentioned at first bc no one knew who was on the plane. It was known that Kobe was on the plane first, do a lot of celebs had to post another post and add her. I remeber think man this will hit Gigi the hardest bc she is so close to her dad. She was always a daddy's girl, he was always carrying her even as a baby. So to hears she was in the crash too uggh. I have a daughter it hurts. There was another parnet and basketball teen in the crash , but no one is saying their names. It is just wo sad all around. You can't be mad that everyone is talking about Kobe and his daughter. They passed away.

Julio Ramirez stfu you don’t know what ur talking about a great man who inspired millions just died with his 13 year old daughter
@graider4l4 жыл бұрын
It's difficult to talk about cuz nobody knows them...they weren't public figures...all we kno is that they were coaches and their children died as well which is awful but after that gets mentioned there's nothing else to say without more info...Kobe impacted millions of regular peoples lives through sport and spent his entire career in one place...We watched him grow from a teenager to one of the greatest (top 3) basketball players in history...We saw him start a family and watched them grow as we did...Many of us feel like we grew up with him and he was always there improving through good and bad times but never left us for a winning team like other players do...then his daughter Gigi started following in his footsteps showing signs of greatness like we saw in Kobe and people were saying he needed a boy...but Gigi said no I got this with that same determination and confidence Kobe showed...and now they're gone forever... and we all know Kobe's beautiful wife and three daughters are home knowing Kobe and Gigi are never coming home...it's so sad cuz we kno so much but they have to actually live through every moment of pain and suffering...Hope that gives an idea of why people keep overshadowing

I think it was everyone. Her team, managers, parents, friends. I don't know if they tried to help her much but she was not quiet about needing it. That's what happens when you get famous, your real friends go and the people who surround you are looking at you like an ATM.

Absolutely stunning in MY opinion.....wether you've experienced anything she has or NOT...wether you KNOW the story behind the song before you hear it.....her voice and emotion and words convey so much. And that's the beauty of music. Songs can take you on a journey.....you feel it...you get it....and with this performance in particular. Her emotions were raw and laid bare. Can YOU imagine performing this song KNOWING it was the last thing you may have ever written? And do it publicly and with so much control and GRACE??? So powerful....

First of all it was pretty thoughtful and genuine of this coach to acknowledge Kobe, an incredible loss in the sports/entertainment industry before proceeding to talk about another living and remarkable talent. That said, this is my first time watching this coach's review; but I am just as moved by her true and vulnerable reaction to Demi's performance as to the performance itself. I am always in awe of any artist who creates and belts out such high quality material and will have do such performance repeatedly during promotions. That is just the power of vocals and talent.
