Jeff screaming about the wheat while you cut to endless shots of people harvesting wheat is hilarious 🤣

Okay let's say they deliver the 12,000 bushels of wheat to the dreadnought. Now what? Does the ship have a flower mill? Okay and if it does you just get tons of bread, cereal and pasta for your soliders. Can't believe they didn't make it a mining village and they needed all their space rocks for their quantum drive.

Oh this movie is super entertaining, but not in a good way. It's an absolute laugh of a watch. Super small scale, with an intergalactic empire losing to a damn primitive village of 150 people, I mean Zack Snyder and his writers have got to be joking. Does Tarak have Superpowers? Then why is Tarak running around with 2 damn axes like he has superpowers and is invulnerable to gunfire, Atticus noble dieing and then coming back exactly the same. Noble changing his mind about the wheat. It was an absolute embarrassment.

Would gladly take more seasons of unfortunately cancelled Netflix shows like Mindhunter for the $166m+ that was handed over to Snyder to bore viewers! Should be noted that Leave the World Behind which came out on Netflix 2wks before Rebel Moon P1 blew P1's viewership away to become the 5th most watched movie in Netflix history!

Thank you Devindra for the "NO. You cannot do that today." 40:59 It was a long time coming for that but the wait was worth it. Dave, drop that rote ending. Take a page from Jeff and his limericks and come up with an original ending for every episode. you can even use AI. Every eps has original opening, now do the ending. At the end off the day "at the end of the day" has run it's course.

Zack Snider should not be allowed anywhere near a script ever again. The more he gets involved with the script the wose the movie gets, and when he gets full control, like here, is like hitting the self destruct button on the entire production. It is baffling that somethig like this was even allowed to get released in this state. It is as much of failure on every level as it is serious in its execution. Like someone convinced to be a genius set up a global event to reveal a world changing product, and then when finally enters the stage proceeds to fart withot interruption for 4 hours in dolby atmos.

Yeah Nemesis just had these two cool robot arms lying around and thought "I gotta use them" ... and in this future having your arms removed and robot arms attached does not require surgery, a doctor, a clinic, anything. No it's a DIY kit where you just cut your own arms off and attach them. Yeah I am thinking Zack had this idea in 5th grade and used it now.

As bad as this was, I was almost expecting Snyder to appear after the movie to announce these were not "movies," but actually a two-part "pre-release trailer" for the immediate launch of Rebel Moon: The Video Game.... and the special thing is - they will gather the collective play-through data from the fanbase to determine the plot of the next movie! (arms out) Surprise! One of those "you decide" type of things... I can't believe it's this bad on accident, I just can't.

Does that even matter if it's a story ripped from better movies. You can just watch those originals because they are actually good. All Snyder knows these days is "the rule of cool" and that's just not enough.

Re: the back-to-back backstories sequence, I suspect Snyder was watching "The Breakfast Club" and thought, "Hey - the part where they sit in a circle and talk about why they're in detention was the best part - I'll just take that, but make it even better with kick-ass visuals!"

I really enjoyed this movie. I understand why it's terrible, but there's a level of absurdity that I found hilarious, like the tavern completely going silent and turning to watch Djimon Hounsou as he walks up to the fire pit - well before he bursts into song. It's just one of those things I can't imagine gets through review by mistake.

Oddly enough, steam-propelled spaceships are something being considered for long-range exploration. But they'd gather their fuel from water ices (taken from comets, icy moons, etc) rather than use coal, which would be incredibly weight-inefficent.

I didn’t mind part 1 but part 2 went downhill fast. Action could be cool but I didn’t care about anything that was happening. With 4hrs of screen time Snyder still failed to get me attached to these characters. I was just bored. I’m done with this franchise now. Great review!

About the R rating... the R rating has the ability to make cool fight scenes even cooler, and make fun dialogue even more fun. It doesn't have the ability to make a terribly written movie a well written movie. I mean unless it's porn; and you have a 3 minute movie about a plumber coming in to fix the pipe and then your R rated version is a 47 minute version of the movie featuring hard core sex.
@jool7793
@jool7793 Ай бұрын
An r rating makes a cool fight scene bloodier and adds dirty words to dialogue. Blood and dirty words don’t make a movie better.

Every frame of this film (and part one) is objectively a work of beautiful art. Pause it on any frame, and it's just stunningly beautiful. But it's in service to absolutely nothing. WHY is the cool robot with a lightsaber and antlers wreaking havok on a battlefield? Zack Snyder makes the best trailers. His director's cuts should be four minutes long, not four hours.

Either the titles of the last many reviews are just baiting (can't listen to the whole review yet), or somehow we diverged so much in taste but only very recently. Guys, you're under selling just how bad this film really was. You have to fully form within your minds, just how bad this thing really is. You're telling me that the premise of these 2 films are that, this Intergalactic Empire needs to feed their men, and they hold this moon hostage to get their wheat? 🌾 Q. Can this Wheat give the empires soldiers super powers, that can help them and make the conquering of more planets even easier? A. No, it can't do that, its just regular wheat? Q. What? Can't this Intergalactic Empire produce their own food? Can't they find other food sources? A. No, they can't, but that Wheat is tasty, I'm telling you. This is shell shockingly bad writing. In the Final Battle, tarak was running around with 2 damn axes, with laser fire flying all around him, and not a single laser hits him. This is brain dead nonsense. And that Bridge Battle with general Titus and tarak was an absolute embarrassment, look at the villagers celebration, holding up melee weapons of axes, swords etc after defeating assault Rifled armed soldiers. It was an absolute embarrassment. Atticus noble decides to destroy the wheat because kora is at the village there? Really? What about all the fuss noble kicked up about the Wheat in part 1? It got so bad that it became an absolute embarrassment of a watch. Zack Snyder and his writers have lost their Damn minds

The wheat would make sense if they can convincingly set up the universe is filled wiht super dry planets and only this one planet aint barren. Or make the wheat special like how spice is important n have spiritual reverent in DUNE
@SuperheroMovies998
@SuperheroMovies998 Ай бұрын
@@kaimargonar1000Yes but at that point, all of the other planets and there animals and human populations would die off from starvation. So the film would be called Rebel Moon: the only Moon left. How about scrap the wheat idea, and build upon the Princess Issa bringing back benevolence to the Imperium - something they once had but lost, and Balisarius not happy with this direction at all of losing all war operations the Imperium built up over the decades, and Balisarius plotting an insurrection against the imperiums royal family, kora torn between the two, etc. Just build into that. And film everything within the huge scale of the Motherworld, not this small scale moon called Veldt.
