The factory designs the quarter panel so the seams won't be noticeable and easy to deal with. I'm sure you can make a partial quarter panel look good, but it seems like it would be much easier just to use the entire quarter panel and follow the factory seams.

kind of the first time i see one drill out rivets etc at decent speed. almost every carfixer i floow on you tube go full speed when drilling out that kinda stuff. if people would slow down they would realise how easy it is to drill stuff out. otherwise one is just burning the drill/drillbit. nice work. and the camaro has a lot cooler design.

Yes, spot weld drills go blunt quickly unless used at slow rpm 👍

The gas cap vents permanently fumes so a dry cloth will not prevent flammable fuel fumes from escaping while you are cutting with an angle grinder. Buy yourself a compressed air nipper/scissor that will cut that panel off without sparks. Best $40 you’ll spend.

I think you should replace the whole quarter panel. Then, when its off, you can cut it into smaller "Art Pieces", sign them, and sell them for $75. each. Undercut the competition!

I guess no one on youtube used spot weld cutters lol... I have one of those mini belt sanders and takes twice as long if not more vs a good rotobroach spot weld cutter.

I agree sanding welds takes longer. Faster and neater job using spot weld drill 👍 uk.

The HellCat came out great 👍 especially the paint job. But the Camaro should be the best when it's all finished completely.

The LT1 could be gotten with OEM Red Seat Belts. Many bands now offer colored seat belts, Pole Star I think comes standard with Yellow. BMW i3 could be ordered with Bright Blue.

The red belts are part of the ZL1 package. Leave the car black...it is probably Carbon Flash Metallic. Hard to tell from the videos right now. Sticker on this was probably high $70K. I'd take the ZL1 over the Hellcat any day. Go Ivan!

red belts are an option on the ZL1. black is standard.

Definitely better to replace whole quarter panel, makes it easier to align inner structure as the quarter panel retains it's shape when in one piece so less chance of misalignment. A donor quarter is way to go with this, you'll have all inner structure pieces so no excuses to leave any mangled metal. Should make a good car 👍uk.

Since I'm a lifelong Camaro guy to me the ZL1 is more cooler and probably more fun to drive because of the manual and twisty road manners... Full quarter panel change out would be the way to go, almost sounds like you need a donor car or at least that section part of one. But I have faith in you, you guys do great work 👍 enjoying the video content. Keep up the great work!

Ivan you have to replace the whole quarter panel, why cut it up? It was Always a possibility that the inner panel would be damaged judging by the impact so don't be too disappointed. I would say that the seat belts are original if the seats are, they have some red in them. Finally don't change the colour. Thanks Brothers 👍.

I would definitely change the color and put racing stripes on it to make the body lines really show because black is just black doesn't show any of the curves to body lines really nothing so I keep that in mind you have to paint the door and the corner panel and blend it all in so you might have just paint the whole car definitely change the color up make the car really look good cuz I don't think the black looks as good but good job on the other build as in the hellcat and definitely the truck so keep up the good work I would take a pull and see who wants to change the color

I am a Mopar guy so it's the hellcat for me.but the Camaro is cool also and it's a six speed so...but the transmission is kinda like built to handle just enough from that super charger.should be a fun car to drive. I don't mind automatics I have driven enough stick and in traffic and such ehh nice job with the quarter panel Ivan 👌. don't think we are missing all the sarcastic remarks buddy🤣🤣. Wow Ivan that is a tough one because I like the Hellcat & the ZL1! The ZL1 is a little more subtle in the looks department but quite powerful as well! I have driven a Hellcat & ridden in a ZL1 and they are both impressive. Well it will interesting to see your opinion when you get to drive both of them! As always I am looking forward to the next video!
