All of the gsxr oil cooled and the Katana motors and Bandit motors were durable smooth motors with fantastic power for oil cooled , the way they designed the oil circulation is brilliant and I have run those motors and never overheated even it gets very hot here.

anorak on here we go T,U,V. approved is a german standard mark like our kite mark it has to be manufactured to at least the OE specification or better so if you see T.U.V on the packaging you can buy with confidence. PS good to see you back chap been looking foreword to it.
@Classicmotorbikes6 жыл бұрын
Hi Gary, you explain the T.U.V much better than I did in the video, some very strict rules the Germans have. I'm glad to be back working on the bike, always boring having to take it easy!

Love the bandit I have one with Dot 750 head, so drunk I bought a 750 gsxr thinking about building another bandit engine for the 750. I don't think standard you would notice except better low down. But up the compression 38mm carbs and cams I'm thinking it could be fun. Why did you stick to 750 engine?

Great series of videos. I've just begun the process of recommissioning mine after she's been wrapped in blankets for quite a long time.

Hi John, that's good to hear will be good to have another one on the road, how are you getting on with the project. Ian

@@Classicmotorbikes I figure on her being ready for next summer. Nothing major required, just complete rebuild of all hydraulics, new or rebuilt shock, tyres and I'll no doubt strip the carbs. She's been in my possession for a long time and always well looked after, plus a full service. Just got to spread the cost out.
