Since the car is already getting a rebuild you should definitely drop the engine and put in the stronger rods since even the stock ones fail at factory power

the battery was savable. you take it apart and bypass the cutoff and charge it up with a lithium battery charger. that gets the voltage up to threshold to close the circuit

Just cut out what is damaged on sub frame and replace it with a new piece. If you have to fabricate new piece that is fine, just make sure its the same aluminum and wall thickness add rivenuts ect. deisgn in CAD then fabricate to make it easier. We have done this on multiple of our huracans & R8's. And no it does not need to be tig welded. These cars are aluminum spool gun welded from the factory.
