You just showed how easy it was to take apart the shifters and an old Toyota pick up well that just shows how great all their trucks are specially Toyotas how easy it is to take apart stuff like the dash and other things that’s why I love older vehicles especially older Tacoma‘s and Toyota pick ups

Right on. I'd love to find a beater and fix it up too. I like the fact that I'd know it inside and out. KZbin and channels like this and also the enthusiast forums (I have a 4 runner and read T4R and T120 a lot) are some terrific positives of the internet. I used to by completely mystified about cars and never considered myself a "car guy" growing up. Now I enjoy keeping them going. Only bummer is when it's your daily driver and you hit a wall.... I hate scrambling to get it together so I go to work. Lol. It's nice not having to stress over an extra project vehicle when you run into issues.

Another great video, I do have a 1989 toyota 22re , had issue with my injectors, noticed that I had the oem, didn't replace, what I did , I rebuilt them, found parts on EBay, that was the cheaper than we one. Parts only cost me $14.00 and some change. Keep those videos coming.

Thanks! Yes easy to turn! When they get hard to turn, they need a cleaning and some grease, sometimes a Oring replacement!

Does your pickup use the cable drive speedo or the electronic style? I have a cluster of both in which im not going to be using if you're interested in swapping out your old cluster. One was from my 94 4runner (electronic speedo) and the other one i pulled from a 2wd 3rd gen unsure of what year or engine. But its a cable drive setup. Also have an old sr5 shifter from my 4runner or i also have an sr5 shifter from a 1st gen toyota. Just unsure how to get you some photos. But im about an hour and a half from spokane. But i do frequently come up that way to pull and save. Im located in Potlatch Id.
@austinniemela4 жыл бұрын
This is a cable speedo! I thought about swapping to a tach cluster
@1994Nic19944 жыл бұрын
@@austinniemela well i do have a tach cluster sitting around if youd like to have a look at it to see if it will work for your pickup. Although i do remember reading a forum on it something to do with the oil pressure sensor if you dont have the correct one on the engine itll kill the oil gauge in the cluster but im not 100% on that. I read it a few years ago. Was going to do the same thing for his pcikup but he didnt sound to interested in swapping it over so i stopped reading into it
