I like his work and he enjoyed recording his own job on the dozer blade instead of getting recorded by his dad. Get him to record what he enjoys working on. The more time with the camera the more "natural" it gets or should I say used to.

My dad was a master of finding the best most time effective repairs. You all remind me of pop. He's in the other room recovering from a broken hip. He's 89 now and would whole heartedly approve of what you all do with these machines.

Hey Tucker, I was you 50 years ago. I had my Grandad and Uncle Buddy piling on me ALL the time. Do this , do that, ring the bell, like the rat I got the cheese.... after 5 years in high school and a year of college working for them, I learned so much, and there wasn't any damn thing I wasn't afraid to try or fix.. Learn what your tools can do, including the tools of your father and uncles. Oh, and don't forget your grandad. He may be a old frog, but you can learn from his stories.

Tucker, I also worked with my dad, every day after school (15) and because it is auto repair supplies, all day Saturday and 8 >12 Sunday. Loved it all, especially the machine shop. But, one day my dad comes walking into the machine shop, keep in mind I also lived with him and the family, comes up to me says "Time for you to be a salesman" WTF... I'm just short of 18 a graduate of HS and no experience at all in sales. Well I'm 69 ran the company for the next 45yrs. Along the way I did it all, from floor sweeping to staying all night during an addition being built. When I look back I had two fantastic teachers. First and by far the best was my dad, he told me things that take a long time to learn on your own keep your ears in your eyes open your mouth shut and remember when you have a question in your inner crowd at least 10 people around you have the same question so a fool is the one who doesn't ask and charges forward first. You guys are the best you take what looks totally impossible and make it possible.

That laser is really impressive, A huge advantage that it is able to clean in tight places without damage to surrounding steel. Important to note that it is definitely not a Toy Always wear the correct protection and never use around pets or animals and never point towards any living being. A good hands on boss , your sons won’t know this now but what an incredible gift that you are able to have them at work with you. I only had limited time over 4-5 years that I was able to work around our home with my dad, still I learned many things that have stayed with me my entire life.

Touched the hot wire to the ring which was grounded, nearly burnt his finger off.. never work with rings on fingers!!!!

I have a friend who caught his ring while jumping down off of a front end loader. Pulled everything off right down to the bone. They had to amputate what was left. Funny thing is he never used to wear his ring but his wife kept bugging him about it so he had just started wearing it again. I haven’t worn mine since my wedding day 34yrs ago and my wife is fine with it. She’d rather I kept all my fingers.
