Thank you so much! It's important the errors, we learn from them :) The stones are very soft so you can cut them to size and chip them away to amke them look more natural. You are going to have a beautiful house outside…fits into the environment..Simon should be proud of his work. Andrea, I've been watching KZbin's Make Do Grow today Sat. Oct. 5th and he's plastering today. What he said about the layers of plater he's putting on reminded me of your Mom's one wall in her bedroom. He mixes hemp with his lime to not only soundproof, but mold proof his walls......Don't know if that could help ya'll. Happy Happy Birthday to your Mom and Omar❣🎂❣.. and tell Simon he is an artist in everything he does!!! You and your sister married incredible men❣. God really hand picked them for you both!!! I pray for you often❣🙏❣

The problem we have isn't mould but efflorescence which is the natural salts from the stone wall coming out. No hemp added will help with this problem. Also hemp is very expensive. The solution we found is to seal the interior wall. This is what professional plasterers have recommended to us here and other people who have renovated their houses in the area 15+ years ago and had similar problems. Im hoping this will help! Efflorescence isn't toxic but it just doesnt look nice. Thanks for your birthday wishes! We both feel very lucky to have them! Thank you for your comment!
