7 month and this tiny? wow. BUT look at how contained and content he is when he’s held by care staff and sergeant mother, that boy is gonna have a very bright future for sure.

They are still overly fragile until they reach the age of three or four years old and even then their chances of survival are slim. They have very little forest to return to and by rescuing and keeping these things alive they are contributing to overpopulation. They are going to die a slower and more terrible death.

@@roryyoung10 Yes, I believe that whole Jungle School farce is a bad idea but I would rather say that I am being realistic rather than negative. Some animals can no longer handle what is happening on this Earth so we should let them go rather than prolong their suffering or allow them to breed so that more animals suffer. Palm oil is not the only problem. The world is changing in many different ways and every animal on Earth (including us humans) is not guaranteed a permanent place here. Our day will come but that day is fast approaching for some animals such as orangutans.

Oh, goodness! So, so sweet! I normally hate it when they scream and cry but after watching it a couple of times you soon discover he's gonna get the cuddle pillow and bottle. You realize his screams are no longer fear. They're now impatients for the bottle. I love his name! Galaksi is far away(he has a long way before he has to leave us). In 2018 I spent two weeks in an orangutan recovery center as a volunteer near Ketapang, in Borneo. It was the most beautiful and at the same time saddest journey of my life.The most beautiful thanks to the orangutan cubs and their expressions. So deep that I can't describe them. The worst because I saw in reality what men are doing to destroy one of the last paradises on earth: the forest of Borneo. I'm sorry to say that. But I can see or image the future of these beautiful primates only in zoos. Although both the orangutans and the forest are protected, the corrupt Indonesian government is doing nothing concrete to defend both. The interests of the large companies that produce palm oil are too big to be able to stop this mess. One day we went on an excursion in the southwest of Borneo, organized by the center of Ketapang where I was indeed a guest. During the trip I suddenly cried. To what extent can we humans be so assholes that we cannot understand that the limit has been crossed and that there is no mountain of dollars that can repair the irreversible damage we have done to our home? What do the great lords of the earth think they are leaving as an inheritance at least to their children? A virtual world made of Giga or Megabyte? If it were up to me I would give all the power of the world to the tibetan monks. Ando I'm not joking.Other than Xi Jingping or Joe Biden.....

OK I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, cause this is the one of the more weirder rants I've seen..... Not sure what Tibetan Monks or US Presidents have to do with any of this, but I'll bite for the fun of it. So if you really care Luca, the biggest thing you can do is ensure nothing you eat, or use, or consume has #palmoil in it. Like THAT is LITERALLY the biggest choice & power stand you can make. Instead of handing over the earth, educate ALL of your friends & family & everyone you know to demand correct food labeling that includes Palm Oil. Educate everyone you know not to buy anything that includes palm oil: from soap, to shower gel, to junk food, to chocolate, Its a pretty easy thing to do, get educated & tell everyone else No to Palm Oil, since you say you were there & experience it, then clearly you know the issues - Palm Oil, Deforestation & Poverty & a living Wage are huge issues that are causing this issue. Say No to Palm Oil, and buy ethical, fair trade & sustainable, ensure workers in foreign countries get paid a fair & living wage for their work. It's pretty easy.

Nice Hair !!! They are the weirdest animal to me. The bodies designed to live in the trees. They live in rain forest where their is torrential rain and floods...often. Yet they cannot swim.Very poor mobility on the ground. I've seen several slip off the beaten path and tumble head over heels down a hill, slope !!! Hysterical
