I think we in Florida got your rain. Didn’t need it all but got it anyway. Another entertaining Friday video. Fun to watch, relaxing, and educational. This is exactly why you are one of my favorite two channels. Can’t wait to watch you spread gravel next week. Think I will sit that one out. Sounds like too much fun for me. Kind of rivals watching poly dry. Thanks Patrick for taking us all along once again. Have fun and stay safe. See you next week.

If you attach a line to the hatch door - then run it through the eyelet on the rafter, and through a hole in the back wall - you could open/close it entirely from the inside. Use a cleat to tie off the line.
@LifeontheMoose3 ай бұрын
I considered that, and actually started buying parts for it. Ultimately decided that it wasn’t going to be opened and closed enough to warrant the effort. Sooo…laziness?🤔 I appreciate you sharing the idea!🙏

I had one of those Milwaukee table saws at a company I worked for. You do need a dozen of the big batteries to get a days work done but it's a nice little saw. I built a saw table out of 4 x16ft pallets (it was an avionics company so really big stuff came in on really big pallets). These aren't your garden variety pallets, they're 3/4 maple ply topped hardwood structured pallets. I used to strip the maple ply off of them for other projects. I stacked about 8 of those pallets on top of each other and cut out a square where the table saw would fit and then shimmed it even with the pallet top. No one borrows your saw table when it weights about 600lbs and the only way to move it is with a fork lift... You don't even have to paint it orange!
@LifeontheMoose3 ай бұрын
Now that sounds like a great use for some heavy duty pallets. And I don’t doubt the saw’s battery usage!

Had an idea for your kitchen window. If you keep an eye out for old transom window hardware you can do that with one lever. No more going outside on a ladder to hook eye it open and you can open and close it from inside. It might even pull the right corner in tight to the stops doing the same thing the eye hook is doing. The hardware is really easy to fabricate too with some cheap to free wrought iron cut offs.

It’s Friday. My only complaint for this post is that the sanding segment was way too short. Other than that, an excellent post as usual Patrick!
