I have been in the so called salafi community in philly from 1998 to 2015 and everything Shadeed is saying is true. I have been saying this for awhile now. I'm so glad he speaking out on this. If you care about blk ppl issues they tell u "no you are wrong you're suppose to care about everyone" meanwhile every other race are concerned with they ppl. All they can offer you is a lecture on who to take from. They can't offer you a job or nothing but they can tell you about shayk so and so. I got so sick and tired of that mess.

As Salaamu Alakuum, Many of things that are being said I truly agree with. Allhumdullah . The only comment I have is I became muslim at the age of 13, when muslim in New York were a very strange thing , when you ran down the street to give salaams if you saw another muslim. I had covered my face and went thru my own family telling me to take that S..... off your face. I agree about the store where arabs own and sell pork to the community, wine, etc. I think that we as African Americans need to own our own business, schools, support each other. It was much more like that back in the day. My comment is I call on Allah much in good times and bad, I have read even in Quran to call on Allah much. Do not confuse Sufi's with something that is Haraam . There are extremes that every walk of life expeirence. Make sure there is clear understanding before we label each other.

As Salaamu Alaykum my brother, Shukran for your truth, and may Allah continue to bless you with the knowledge of this Deen. Always, when a individual stands for truth and justice your faced with the evil eye, I do believe its your test my brother, and don’t stoop to the level of those of ignorance. I too heard things, but never do I judge my brothers or sisters, only Allah is the judger and he knows the hearts of us all. Systemically we (African Americans) are blinded by the history of America which make one more distrusting of each other verses others, therefore, we tend to appreciate foreigners knowledge over one learning, coming from the hood. I know first hand the devastation of trusting man. Today, I strive for Allah mercy as the result, one of the things my brother ( Dawud) taught was the problem with Muslim women is their husband and their Deen.. From Allah we come too Allah we all must return, with that said Only Allah is worthy of worship never should we put our trust and faith in man.. After all racism is the fabric of this world going as far back during the times of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) therefore this journey is the path we as a people have chosen. Shadeed has made racism the theme of his call with a program that has an appeal to a racist mindset. Racism continues to be a struggle in the world,but this agitation of racial bias was not the style nor method in the call of the Prophet.The desire and appetite for racism is a sickness of whims and hatred that confuses and divides the Muslims in their communities .And breeds a"what about me mentality". Yes , we must acknowledge racism and all of its evils but we must do it with balance ,fairness and justice. And we must not do it by drowning in resentments and obsessions over that which will mar the beauty and unity of brotherhood in Islam .

Faiza Mohamed character flaws doesn't deem one to be upon misguidance, I think the camera is mirrored giving the illusion that he's drinking with his left hand.
