Excellent video sir…used it to repair my wife’s chair and it was exactly what I needed. I have the upgraded metal parts off Amazon and were slightly different but this video showed how to remove/install everything.

I started the process before I found you to replace the same piece you are replacing but I ordered and received the original plastic piece so my process will be a little different than yours, I also unscrewed the 2 screws that go through the wood so I could move that piece out of the way now I can't find it anywhere unless I actually have it and don't remember how it goes back but for the life of me it should be right there with everything else but it isn't so now I can't find a parts diagram to see exactly what that piece looks like, so frustrating! This piece is not highlighted in a video, I can see a little of it in Part one so do happen to have an e address for a parts list for the P10535 so I can get an eyeball on it?

Okay I found the piece it was upside down stuck in between the prongs making it look and feel like it belonged there but it was upside down so it did not look like the same piece!

What happened when I broke that piece is I sneezed real hard while I was in the recliner with it all the way opened and my legs went up in the air and came back down pretty hard and I felt something break underneath the chair and it was that piece.
