Ooh yes Daughter of the Forest definitely belongs on this list, those forest Fall vibes are impeccable 🍁🍂 This is the first year I’m getting in on the seasonal reads hype. Currently trying out One Dark Window and planning on some witchy romance too.

Oooh love these vibes!! I have read all but Spells for Forgetting, though that is high up on the TBR! I think A Sorceress Comes to Call by T. Kingfisher is also a really fall vibes book. And Where the Dark Stands Still by A.B. Poranek as well, such a gem 🤩

Agree on fall feeling like the season that has the most defined seasonal reading even though it's broad. I think winter is really the only other one that I read seasonally and usually just books that have a really atmospheric cold/icy setting. I haven't read any of these yet but I definitely want to pick up more atmospheric and historical fantasy titles later this year.

That's so funny. I'm literally reading hearts blood rn bc it seemed like a good atmospheric fall read. Daughter of the forest sounds incredible! I have to read it now. I don't mind age gap Edit: technically hearts blood is late summer into fall but feels very fall

I always forget about hearts blood! I read it when it came out ages ago but haven't since. That would be a great re-read to see how it holds up 🤔 I hope you enjoy it!
