Man, I can’t thank you enough for your videos on the Tascam model 12. That was an intimidating piece of gear for someone like me whose last MTR was the old portastudio. Your videos not only helped with that piece of gear, but they sent me searching for information regarding different aspects of hybrid home music production, ultimately helping me to be more confident as well as creative. I hope you continue doing more video tutorial series like the Tascam model 12. You are excellent at explaining and demystifying pro audio gear, and I look forward to watching other tutorials. Thanks again!!!! 😊😊

I’ve not had a single issue with this unit, it’s been an absolute joy and i learned so much about proper recording and gain staging

Thanks for your comment. As I mentioned, I never had any issues myself, it just doesn’t fit my current workflow.

Thanks for the video. As a Model 12 owner, I have really enjoyed your videos on it. I have learned a lot! Tascam should send you a 2400 to try.

Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I don’t think TASCAM will send anything. 🤪. They just enjoy the publicity I provide 😊

I've really enjoyed pouring through all your Tascam Model-12 videos for the past few years or so, I'm going to miss your latest insights & opinions on this unit I think I caught onto your videos around the same time that I purchased mine nearly 4 years ago I've also grown accustomed to hearing your familiar voice & really like your style of communication as well You'll have to forgive me if I don't visit your channel as often now that you've reboxed your Model-12, but I'll still pop in from time to time So from this humble Recording Studio novice in the small state of Tasmania I just want to say Thank You Very Much Joe Busuttil in Tasmania

Thanks for the nice comments Joe. I may have packed away my Model 12, but I'm still happy to help answer questions. Hope to see you from time to time.

Nice video thanks alot! I would reaaaaaally have loved a video where you explain how you connect your tascam model 12 to EVERYTHING hahahaha. I have the same tascam and no outboard gear.
@RecordingStudio93 ай бұрын
Thanks. Since Model 12 has technically one SUB output, I had to use one outboard gear at a time. Hence the reason of being re-boxed.

I was wondering what the speakers were that were on the stands and whether or not you have ever connected the Model 12 to powered PA speakers for live application. Great videos!
@RecordingStudio94 ай бұрын
I have never taken my Model 12 out of the studio. Did you see my small PA speakers at the back of the room? I have used them for client band rehearsal before recording with the model 12.

@@RecordingStudio9 Thanks, I was thinking of live capabilities. For example, you can probably use the vamp feature to use the Model 12 like a looper as long as you had the foot switch. I was just curious if anyone is using it like that. By the way, I really appreciated the breakdown of the bus hardware vs. the line in processing.

Thanks. Would also appreciate the PC’s specifications as I’m planning to buy one and cannot decide.

My PC is about 8 years old. Best to search KZbin for a recent PC specs for audio production.

Agreed. The Tascam drivers for this are dreadful. Thankfully, I bought it to use standalone but when I have connected to the PC, its been constant problems, and Tascam have been very little help. Never had any of these problems with my previous audio interface or my current one. Thanks for the videos!

TASCAM really needs to fix their Windows drivers for Model series. Behringer done it 20 years ago.
