Recovering Gold from low grade pins

This video reviews the process of Recovering Gold from low grade pins using AP (Acid peroxide / Copper II chloride etchant) a notorious slow process and HCl + Bleach to process 428 grams of low-grade gold pins which resulted in close to a gram of gold recovered in this video.
Some footage is missing, this video had a span of more than 60 days
Pins soaked in AP 60 days
HCl and bleach leach 7 days
Filtering two days
Ferrous sulphate drop 1 day
AR processing 1 day
Filtering, rinsing then HCl boil 1 day
66 days
1.5 grams of gold from sulfuric acid stripping cell + .78 from these batch = 2.28 grams of gold recovered so far from the current pile of E-waste

Try 1 litre water and 6 teaspoons of salt +12v transformer copper+ spoon or flashing and lead - a brass screen works also if using battery charger stone bowl otherwise plastic bucket and screen works lead on bottom insted of side to side like sulphuric cell deplates quickly especially plated boards a meter pointer works for copper it starts at bottom and deplatess to pointer thinking a clip with some potato chip with flashing for fingers . A lead fishing weight flattened and brass screen nothing goes into solution

So , i am going backwards lol but , ammonia, to drop platinum out first? I never touched platinum ....

I pushed the PMG’s down stream into my waste bucket . I need to process the container this year . My plan is to use Copper pipe will drop any PMG in the AP then iron or electrolysis to remove the copper .

Might be easier to use DMG . Heck you could probably use AL after dropping the gold , but then you have every thing above AL and redisovle drop w/ DMG

So many ways, thats where I got tripped up in the beginning, so many ways, so many places. It was when I focused on a few refiners , that had similar procedures. Then i actually started to understand 🙃 😅

Try the CUCL2 method. It works a lot better on pulling the foils and dissolves base metals ! Copper chloride is easier to mess with and you can use it over and over again.
