This is a niche but an extremely important product. There are a lot of product solutions for carrying and organizing medical equipment and plenty of resources for whatever your medical training needs are. But I have always felt there was a deficiency in training and equipment for physically getting to, recovering, and extracting casualties. It's something that's critical for any industry or activity that operates in settings without easy access to EMS.

I want to thank you. I'm so accustomed to a certain thought process that when I read "niche" I went through a weird emotional response. But you're right, this product is for people who work in a team environment wearing plate carriers. A fairly niche line of work.

I searched long and hard but could never find the original DARC strap for sale. So I ended up sewing my own based on the usage instructions PDF. I’m very glad to see that you’ve come back out with this again, so now I don’t have to sew them for the rest of my team.

I've been waiting for this, I think I messaged you support guys a few months ago about this. I just run tubular nylon through the back of my avs, and it's been great but it's a little nit picky but I just hate the makeshift handle that you just kinda have to deal with. I'll definitely be picking a few of these up, I'm excited!!

Any guidance or thoughts about placing a large chunk of metal in the shape of a locking carabiner centered over the spine at 6 o’clock on the belt line? Most conventional wisdom is to keep metal objects off the spine. Do not conceal carry at 6 o’clock due to the risk of spinal issues if you fall and land on it. How is this any different?
@KossackNation2 жыл бұрын
I actually tied off two knots at the bottom of my plate bag, and run two karabiners; respectively at the 5 and 7 o’clock position. (Overall length or available strap isn’t an issue with two knots; I’m 6 foot). I ran smaller load bearing karabiners too in order to have less interference with movement and wearing of various backpacks and kit configuration.

Your comment about everyone ditching their current carrier and running a LV119. I have a LV119 and as much as I love the internal cable management and ability to use this drag handle, I never use it, because it’s not comfortable for me for long term use. My go-to carriers have been structural, specifically the Ferro FCPC and Crye SPC. I would love to see you guys introduce a structural version of the LV119. I’m not the biggest fan of the straight over the top shoulder straps, but having a structural cummerbund (with Tegris, preferably) would be a massive improvement that I would love to see. Keep it up dudes 🤙🏻

Would this setup work on a chest rig and backpack setup? I’m looking at getting it for a light no plate carrier setup
@peytonblock73142 жыл бұрын
So I take it this won't work witht he covert back panel? Had been hoping maybe it would be able to. Unless maybe it could be run through the passthrough at the shoulder and then down and out the sides were the CB comes out? Certainly wouldn't be as nice and clean, and it would sit higher and the stays wouldn't be usable because the passthroughs would be too far apart. But maybe would work. Or maybe a seperate version on the way for the covert?
@SpiritusSystems2 жыл бұрын
Right now it is only designed to work with the Overt rear bag, and other carriers with MOLLE available on the back. Not saying we wont design another version, but we're not focused on that at this time
