What a wonderful interview! Thankyou for sharing. So inspiring. I loved that you talked abput not obsessing about the illness. It is so easy to do! I've signed up for an online watercolour class and I love it! - not something I would have done pre covid in my busy busy rushy life.

It took me a couple of separate occasions over a few months to finish this video 😂 but I did and I loved every part of it! It resonates so much with how I want to keep recovering and what I’ve been experiencing. I’d love to get out of the way of my body, because it does know what I need!

This interview was so very lovely, and so very needed for me today. I am at the 12 month mark and feeling a mix of complicated feelings about where I am at. Debbie is such a bright light, and so are you Suzy. I'm so glad I joined the RRR community.

"Change my doctor" ! ? You were privileged from day 1 I never see the same doctor twice. The practice policy is that the notes are all the continuity needed for good Dr patient relationships.

I think this dialogue between both of you was quite relevant for me currently, 12 months. Some important points I relate to were: it helps tremendously to take out focus away from what can seem like the trenches of recovery. It is very easy to get bogged down with information and anecdotal data. Critical to find some sort of balance towards normalcy in life and things that inspire and energize. Connection with energizing people is also critical. Attitude towards our abilities and empowerment crucial for wellbeing, striking that balance in finding what feels right for us at the time. Really enjoyed the conversation , it was very helpful to reinforce many things I was thinking and feeling and provided inspiration to engage in yoga and breathing with Suzy. I hope to return to work soon. Give many thanks and gratitude. Nigel 34yo Chef

This was truly fascinating and I believe it will be so helpful to others suffering from long COVID. Debbie related her journey with such warmth, intelligence and humor that I will share this with all of my friends and family who have had COVID. I believe that her reaching out to others during her illness, in the ways that she was able to, can be good advice for life, in general. P.S. I have several friends who are stand up comedians. Check out Jane Condon, Michele Balan, Brad Zimmerman, Nancy Lombardo and Marion Grondin.

I have a wonderful GP and very lucky she has referred me for all the tests. Although, still waiting for my cardiology 24 hour taping so fingers crossed that will happen soon, so we can rule things out and decide next steps as I feel so in limbo. Lovely to hear this experience! Thanks for sharing! I really needed to hear this as a lot of the time I feel despair! As if nothing will ever get better! But I do know things can only get better if I focus on positivity so I’ve bought a sketch pad and going draw the trees out my front window!! Now I’m no artist in anyway but I loved the part about our brain needing to break from thinking about our symptoms and do something creative and look at what I can do to help someone else that isn’t me so I’m going to have a think about what I can do as I have become very insular! So thank you very much so inspirational ❤️

This is just wonderful .. Debbie is a delight . Gives so much hope .. thank you for sharing xx This is highlighted that I need to reconnect more, it’s very easy to feel as if the world is passing you by & you’re just not part of it anymore . I think I’ve also lost some confidence , as it’s as my identity has been stripped away . I feel as if I’m a completely different person now xx
