This is so helpful - thank you. In terms of antihistamines, is there a specific type (e.g. Fexofenadine, cetirizine, loratadine, etc) that would be more helpful than others for long covid recovery?

Thank you so much Suzy for what you do. I have POTS and I have found this practice to be very relaxing and calming. I am going to be joining your RRR program. And thank you so much for making it affordable whereas so many people charge a lot of money for their programs/subscriptions fully knowing many of us LC, POTS, ME/CFS people aren't working and have spent lots of money on medical care. There is no price tag on health, but you make accessing truly healing exercises very affordable! ❤️

Similar story, pfizer booster then bizarre symptoms in the weeks that followed then a steady decline in health to the point where bedbound and unable to work. Horrible new onset insomnia and pain, feeling like I'm being electrocuted. Also noticed screens are an issue and find being in my garden helps me!

too many interjections. Not everything needs an ooh, aaah, in an interview. let the guest speak. This isn't a conversation where Amazing , and wonderful, and oohs, and aaahs are needed to encourage conversation. Anni interview implies a wiling conversation. Let the storty teller tell their story.

Thank you for this inspirational interview Rebekah and Suzy. I have seen you on RRR make your wonderful recovery. It is so reassuring to hear how well you are doing after your rollercoaster ride. I related to all that you talked about. Thanks again for having the courage to share this with us and thank you to Suzy for all your help in our recovery journeys. It may be (is!) long and hard but I know I wouldn’t have coped without put the wonderful RRR community. People who really get it! Xx

I'm seeing a long covid specialist and first round of treatment he has me on is: Ivermectin Nattokinase Bromelin Vit D3 K2 Magnesium glycinate Other recommendations: Keto diet or just adding high quality fats to your diet. The fats help coat and protect the cells making them more resilient. Cold water plunges with the approval of cardiologist. 30 minutes of direct sun at least 3x per week Infrared sauna Hyperbaric oxygen chamber. I have all the symptoms she mentioned so praying this treatment plan works.

Thank you both so much for this interview. I have struggled to work through my feelings as an ex health care professional with Long Covid, as to why I found it so hard to work within a system that had no time for empathy and listening to the patient story. This interview really validated my feelings and I can start to appreciate that may be it was not me that was broken in my approach to managing vulnerable families but the system. I really hope one day I can use the 25 years of experience I gained to help others again but that may be some time away yet. Carolyn, I have spent 2 1/2 years not being able to cry and it is slowly coming back! While I still have a long way to go in my recovery journey there are glimmers of hope that I am clinging on to.

I have just started following your classes after a long time with Covid symptoms which have only just been diagnosed due to other health issues. I am finding them soooo helpful! The sense of community, the way you explain some of the 'biology' e.g. how the amygdala works with our breathing. My anxiety levels have really dropped recently and I am sure these classes are helping a lot. Still on level 1 but I am not rushing. Thanks.

Im on month 8 of long covid . So I've been meditating now for about 5 months. But more recently been using it properly after hearing about brain training. Anyway I've never once cried while meditating but when you started talking about giving thanks to the body I just started crying and couldn't stop. . Guessing that's a really helpful important release of emotions? Unexpected

Yes……❤❤❤❤it is a tricky thing to give thanks to the body when it feels like it’s letting us down or separate from us - but actually the body is us - your body is you - and it’s trying really hard to sort the mess out. Harder than we will ever know. So taking a moment to appreciate this can be really powerful - and an opportunity to come ‘home’ to ourselves. Xxx

Dr Glynne please speak slower. I have been public health speaker for 25 years. Many can not follow you and you have many important things to say. As we get older we need slower speach eapecially when trying to learn new things. Thanks for your work many young women need to hear this. I am near 70 and there was nothing when I was younger. We had to learn ourself as we went on. Should not be this way. We need more education on this subject. I have cfs myself 30 years so yes I understand all of this.

Although I’m incredibly anxious about my symptoms. I don’t agree with avoiding public spaces as I believe I need to keep topping up my immune system by coming into contact with bugs, in my opinion. Even if we stay away from others we will eventually get unwell it will be worse as we haven’t been in public regularly. I believe getting covid wasn’t the issue for me but the state of my body and mind. So there is no reason I will go back if I look after myself emotionally and physically. ❤ Although I do understand the fear of reinfection and did have it earlier in my journey.

This is great. I really relate to the breathing anxiety. As I’ve seen a breathing physio last weekend and she told me my breathing is fine mechanically although I still get air hunger. it was disordered at the start and even before covid. Although very mildly as I can remember having to sleep with a fan as if I lay down at night my breathing was strange esp when it was warmer weather and I noticed it waking too at one point - all before I had covid. As I was fixated with something being wrong after a chest infection - 6 months before covid and leading up as well as a palpitation episode and lots of most likely unneeded antibiotics, stress, no sleep and over doing things. Anyway, my physio told me to stop breathing exercises and breath holds for the moment. As my unconscious breathing is fine but when I focus on it I get air hunger. As well as if I do breath holds. So I will return once I believe I’m safe as I’m seeing a counsellor and osteopath to fix my spine and help calm my physical body (as I reacted badly to reducing beta blocker and started to get adrenaline surges through the night in Sept last year, then I reduced it again before Xmas because I was a gluten for punishment and it all happens again along with terrible physical anxiety worse than at the start of long covid. This has improved thankfully. But I have terrible heaviness in the body/limbs, head, neck, shoulder blade, back pain and nerve sensations, tightening in my, sternocleidomastoid, head, throat, neck and pain /pressure/twitching in my eye now which worsens using arms and walking. Which hopefully my lovely oestopath can sort as my heart is behaving much better. Although air hunger comes and goes. I can mainly ignore through distraction, nasal breathing , singing, short nasal walks, reading out loud (slowing my speech), reassuring myself I am fine, as the fear has been my biggest issue. So thanks both xx

I just found your site a few days ago. I'm not sure if the algorithm picked up on the fact that I listened to a recovery story that you did with a woman from BC where I live. I would agree with JacquiQ that those of us who have been struggling with ME for many years are sad that it has stolen a deal of our lives and been a long time coming but, in my case, heartened that there is more help on the net now - in a way thanks to long covid. I give thanks and blessings to all that are offering hope where there has been little for a very long time.
