With 29 years in Disaster Service Volunteer work, I have always found the People will rally around each other if brought together for a common cause and I imagine one or more Farmers with land will also do the same, if so Please be respectful with Black Water and Waste on these Private properties So those who opened their Gates to let you stay there wont later regret that choice when cleaning Up after You. The Disaster Isn't about YOU Saving the World or Doing stupid Dangerous Things, its about Lifting up your Neighbors, its about doing what You Pray someone would do for You, If it was You and not Them, that is when its becomes Magical US fighting together and Winning, God Bless You All

This is awesome. Years ago I tried to go help clean up from Katrina. It was so discouraging that there were so many scams that popped up. Fake jobs, outrageous camping fees, $20 for sandwiches, etc. It is so nice to see the good people doing the right things.

Hey John, I live in Houston, Texas, and subscribed to your channel today. I love the work you're doing in documenting all the recovery efforts in NC. I've watched all the videos from day one of all the destruction and my heart goes out to all the folks who lost so much or everything including loved ones. North Carolina and the Appalachians are some of the most beautiful states in the US and unfortunately, I have never visited. I have donated funds to the relief efforts and plan to do so monthly. I donated to the Helene Rebuild Collaborative and may donate to one of the organizations you have suggested. Keep up the good work you are doing to keep people like me updated on the progress. Thank you. 🤠❤❤

Glad to see these efforts being organized so well. Two weeks ago I reached out to Samaritan’s purse and received a call the next morning, they said a relief coordinator would call me in 72hrs. I never heard anymore from them. I own a mobile heavy equipment repair company and would love to help support those who are volunteering their equipment. My travel and labor would be volunteer as long as the equipment is doing the same. If anyone knows of a need let me know. Thanks to all who are there and have been there helping!

Such a wonderful gathering of help and great group of people! I don't follow natural disasters usually they are not as publicized on KZbin. I've been following Helene videos since day 1. All of these stories touch my heart. This is where social media has really been beneficial in getting the word out the devastation is vast in Appalachia. I don't have the ability to physically help and I don't have a lot of money but I am sending prayers to all the victims and families helpings and send what I can to the GoFundMe pages and direct donations to victims. This is surely a great representation of what America should be and probably once was in history.

God Bless You , ALL! To see Americans helping Americans, gives so many hope . It is heart breaking to see the devastation & not to see this on any mainstream news, daily, is a crime. They're afraid to let people see , Government has basically ignored this Disaster. If this doesn't teach & people learn from this. I don't know, its too scary to write it down. Prayers for Everyone. A little suggestion, the backyard muzak in the vids are a little loud. Remember, these Viddies, will hopefully be here for, a long time? Thanks

What a beautiful, generous gesture. I am surprised, the way things are these days, that the county or other government entity, doesn't stop them from doing this without some sort of license, regulation, and what not, red tape. I hope they will be able to continue to do this at will.

Someone please donate a couple of wagons with a flat deck on top and a few dollies with a long foot on the bottom. With big tires that roll easily over rough terrain.. these will make moving all these supplies much easier for these awesome people.. also a great help would be heavy duty folding tables and some sturdy plastic shelves..

IDEA, We should all consider taking a Family in effected Area as Their Secret or Not so Secret Santa, some of these areas wont see electric power for up to 9 Months, many have lost their Jobs or have reduced income, increased cost of Living and are trying to negotiate the Insurance Nightmare most are experiencing. If you dont live in the area, Locate a Church in an effected area, inquire if anyone needing Secret Santa to help Community recover. And You dont have to limit this to Xmas, they Need Coats, Generators, Propane, Batteries, GLOVES, work related Boots as many lost it all down to their underwear & socks. Imagine it was You that Lost everything, What would You Need or Want Most? What would your Mother or Father need most if it was Them and Do your Best, don't hurt yourself to help another. And remember when offered a Chance to Be Kind or to Be Right, Opt for Kindness

If you can put the outdoor stuff on pallets then cover with tarps, you can protect the outdoor stuff pretty well from both the rain and snow. It wont work for the damp but it can keep stuff reasonably dry. Depending upon the amount of wind, one of those 10'x10' s over pallets of stuff covered/ wrapped by tarps works too; more tarping on the edges of course.

You all need to salvage some wood to build shelves for use in that distribution tent. The wood flower bulb displayers found inmbox stores are a remarkably strong design for the predominance of 2"x2"'s; basically a frame utilizing the bulb boxes for shelf bottoms.
