"Training is a privilege"; really wise words. I realized this after I tore both my TFCCs and couldn't do upper body for 3 months. Had to restart with 0.5kg physiotherapy dumbells, now I'm back to my old weights after 4 months of slow and steady progression. Thanks for the reminder Saket, speedy recovery to you!

@@YoYoAbhijit did you get it checked by a doc? Mine were partial tears due to months of bad form and unnecessarily heavy weights. The xray/ultrasound doesn't pick it up, and they wrongly diagnosed it as ECU tendonitis. Get an MRI done, that's the best diagnostic tool for this injury. Physio will give you rehab exercises etc. And for those who dont have it yet, start using wrist straps for heavy exercises and focus on correct wrist/forearm position during exercises. I'll heal within a month or two, but you have to alway be careful, since it never fully heals. I've stopped trying to hit PRs and it's greatly beneficial since I'm only training for aesthetics. Don't be scared to lose a few weeks, we have decades of gym ahead of us, a lifetime in fact!

@@vdd7393 I did see a doctor, as you said x-ray didn't pick up anything. So he suggested to keep my hand in a cast for 3 weeks to give it some rest, did some physical check-up said it's most probably a TFCC injury. I'll get an update after 3 days when the cast will be removed. Hopefully it's nothing serious because I'm pretty new to workout, I think I got injured while doing heavy wrist curls.

I am suffering from same illness since last 10 years. You should recover from this as soon as possible. Because it often comes and go in your life. It never leave you painfree conciously and subconsciously.

Hi Saket i really enjoy watching ur videos and i really want to start going to the gym I know that you are following a ppl split can u make a 2023 ppl playlist with the most effective exercises for gaining muscle or the exercises that u do and can also include warm up, correct form and your tips for performing the exercises as well. Saket, I also recently felt those sparks in my spine while bending or on back movement. My physiotherapist considered deadlifts as the main reason for it. Do you think this could be a reason because everyone in my gym appreciate my form and I do conventional. #askSaket

Same injury happened to me when I was training chest bent over to pick up heavy dumbells and literally got stuck there then some how got to home when I laid down I couldn't get up if I got up couldn't sit down basically same couldn't do any transition so what I did to recover was I added 10 minutes of warm up of my lower back with cat cow and some other stretches and used a cream called (deep heat) but I didn't take rest and after 2 months I again got struck during heavy tricep pushdowns but basically the things I noticed was my hamstrings and glutes were weak according to my over all physique so stared doing slow and controlled deadlifts I cannot say I am 100% pain free but I am 95℅ pain free But hope to get some good information from you recovery journey so I can optimize some things in my training also :)

Plzzz answer my question in next video..I have been working out from almost last two years and getting really satisfying gains..It was only because of you cause I started watching you at the beginning of my fitness journey and overcomed my gym and diet mistakes from very early...The problem I'm facing is that as you told Machines are a more better option than free weights which is true cause our form in those machine exercise are better which in turn will provide us with better gains and also less chances of injury cause our body is stable and goes with the motion of the machine..But I had a great soft corner for deadlift from day 1 but stopped doing it cause it is not that a good exercise in terms of muscle building and also the ratio of risk to benefit is not at all impressive...That it is more risky than benefitting us in terms of muscle growth...This is what I truly believe and understand and that's why I switched to other back exercises for muscle building ...But now I'm craving for deadlift and can't stop my feeling...My goal is muscle building mainly and I'm building it very nicely but my mind is distracting towards deadlift..Can you plzz tell me what to do???

Bro I had similar pain like u when I was sitting and standing and like u when was bending in my lower back i got this in injury in Jan took me 2 months to recover the pain is still there but not that much the only problem is that Cannot do crunches properly now still the pain is there when bending my back fully for ex crunches

I have a similar condition, I got a MRI done and found out there was some minor bend in my spine. So I would like to suggest to get a mri done to be sure.

I have been watching you from 5yrs approx you are same age as me ... Hii Saket, the pain you are feeling is maybe due to nerve compression, the pain with it will come and goes in future,I am also suffering from it last 4-5 years ,be patient with your recovery routine and take help from physiotherapy as well

The problem with push,pull, leg is recovery. People undertimate recovery. I feel if you are going intense in each day, you should not hit muscule twice a week. 4 days workout per week is enough to build good muscle.
