Hey wonderful little lady..I have just come across ur videos yesterday !! First one I saw was you showing how to sew a seam 7 ways..loved it!! Well then I subscribed to ur channel and talk about a rabbit hole..I went back to ur earliest vids and I have been tripping ever since..I love ALL THE THINGS you love to do and in fact have been doing them kinda like on a parallel universe 😳EYE love to tell stories and when I get excited about something I just have to share!! Really too much to post as a comment😜so needless to say I’m a total fan AND your slow stitch work on this little book is so beautiful!! I thank you MUCHO for your generosity of spirit , time, and determination in making these awesome teaching videos!! Especially LOVE ur circles!! One of my favs along with ur hearts!! OK SOMEBODY STOP ME ALREADY!💕🤗 Connie

If you can't find thick cardboard, take several layers of ceral box cardboard, slather with glue, adhere together, then trim to your final size... and you'll get a nice needlebook cover, remember... It's going to be covered with fabric so it doesn't have to be fancy (but I still put the glue on printed side of the cereal box so that the solid tan side is out). Try it and see if you like it. I use cheap school glue, but you could make diy flour or rice paste. I wouldn't use hot glue - too bumpy. 💕🌞🌵😷

I'm trying to catch up on old videos... But in a recent video you asked if I like when you voice over the cards 11:29... And my answer is YES! And the reason is that: I've started slow stirching some zorkin with sashiko stitches whilst watching/listening to your videos and without the voiceovers, I have to rewind to see the message. Yes, this also helps the visually impaired, but if you really want to make your videos easier for them, you need to also, be more specific... (when you can)... instead of saying fold over this side or that, say fold over the right/left sides, then fold over the top/bottom. Only 5% of people are totally in the dark. Most can see something, even if it's just light/dark or shadows... so your black cards with the big white letters with simple font is really great. So is allowing lots of time to be able to focus is really helpful. Sending lots of love 💕 from sunny Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷

Thank you Suzi for your wonderful input! I realized last year that most people are stitching so not really looking at the screen a good portion of the time. 💛

@JeriBellini yes, most people who sew have passable vision, but not all. My great-grandfather was blind but he supported his family by making straw brooms. Besides, watching your tutorials I'm thrilled to be able to see the progression of your art. You started with dot-a-day to penny "rugs" to penny rugs with so many embellishments from scraps to embroidery to buttons! I can't wait to see what you come up with next! 💕🌞🌵😷

I really appreciate your ability to describe your process, especially in such a joyful way. The thought of me trying to explain to anyone how I put a quilt top together is quite unappealing, although it probably wouldn’t be as bad as I imagine!

Hi Jeri, loved your video. I'm just setting out to run my first proper workshop. Your comment that you're doing it for friends was just what I needed. Remembering to breathe, finding words, slowing down. I know I can do it, I just have to tell myself. Thank you, Valerie .

I use small binder clips to hold my thread in place so not to get pulled through the binder. paper clips work if you do it from the side of the clip.

When I’m stitching I have to remind myself that stitching is a art form and art is what we make to please our eye and is never perfect. I’ve learned to let go of the perfection and enjoy the process! I do have to ask anout the piece in the background of your videos with the circles. I always look for a slo stitch project to do daily at the beginning of each year as a daily meditation and love doing circles. So maybe this will be my 2025 one. Thank you for sharing!
